As I spent the day convinced we were going to lose given our history at Spotland, I'm happy with a point. Three would have been better but not to be this evening.

I agree with that, although trying to stay positive we have a goal difference of +10 and a game in hand.

That too but I heard an interview on the local radio station with a young player before an away game. Bloke said he didn't fancy facing DW on the pitch I thought it can't hurt having that reputation, except perhaps with the referee.

Currently looking for a birthday present for someone at short notice and hoping to get home before kick off. Will be interesting to see if Cole is playing and if he fits in well. PUSB

Wise was a good player for us and not just because he intimidated some of the opposition. ;)

    Football League Tonight

For those of us who were at work all day, having to leave the pub to get back for 9pm to see it is a pain. +1 helps and I can unless it's a really good night make it back from a few celebratory drinks in time.

When I last checked it was 0-0 and not long to go, depression sets in. Brilliant result PUSB

    Magnus Hedman - your memories

That was a good bit of business we did selling Kirkland given the injuries he ended up with.

    Magnus Hedman - your memories

I can remember the first time I saw his wife it was in a magazine and I think it might have been Hello which would mean it was at the hairdressers. I also remember him facing down an angry pitch invader at I think Preston North End. He wasn't flustered at all and really rather calm about it when...

Brilliant result today and sounds like we were good plus a bit of luck. Those who went had a lot more fun than my day at work. Off to the pub for a celebratory pint or three. :)

This sounds like a cracking game. Hope we can keep on top of them, Charles Cook has a good day and we eventually get a penalty decision given our way.

    Madders on the mend

Delighted by the news and hopefully as others have said he won't be rushed back before being totally recovered.

    Ricoh Arena station update

I would certainly consider a package deal to get to, from and into the Ricoh for a match especially a night kick off.

Oh good grief what is their problem? How hard can it be to open a train station?

Not a great day by the sounds of things although a dodgy penalty sinking us is nothing new. Would be Clarke who gets both though wouldn't it. :( At least the damage caused to the goal difference isn't too severe.

    how much

I've never seen one at the station, I've gone into the city centre and got the bus to Tesco if I've arrived early enough. Depending on the route and traffic a taxi can be £12-£16 I normally try and find someone else going to the game to share the cab and split the fare. You can also buy a...

How come we're not playing Tuesday?

I agree that the game in hand could be useful and gives us a break the others won't have had.

    CoCventry?!

What with all the cuts at ITV I doubt it. This is a long way from the days of Central. Just a cocook up typo nothing more I suspect.

    Blatter Resigns

Blatter should do the decent thing and for the good of the game step down until he is either cleared or found guilty. Doubt he will though.

Well I missed all of that because we're short staffed today, but a win is positive. To be fair if Burge can easily keep a clean sheet with punches then I'd rather he did that as opposed to attempting to catch it.
