    Women's World Cup 2015

From what Johnathon Pearce said about rubber crumbs and you can see them in the slow mo, I think this is the same stuff as they have at the Higgs. It allows you to slide on it without getting burns unlike normal astroturf. Not looking amazing at the moment are we.

First real/fake grass being put down at Ricoh

I thought that was the case too, although I wasn't sure when they had changed it. The stuff they have/had at the Higgs Centre I think for the indoor pitches was really neat. Doesn't give you a burn if you slide on it unlike normal astroturf at least that's what they said.

    Women's World Cup 2015

I saw one of the build up shows and they said all the games were being played on artificial pitches.

update on odds and ends off the pitch

Wasn't suggesting that initially we could have bought the council share, that would have required trust on the (two faced) council side for SISU. However we would have had access to the ACL books and an equal number of seats on the board to the council. We could have proved the claim from Tim...

update on odds and ends off the pitch

At the very beginning before Sisu had pissed off the Higgs and ACL we could have done so but we didn't. Igwe along with Ranson had a different plan for the club and we are where we are, homeless!

Wasn't the train station a condition of planning permission?

True but cost us the chance to own ACL as well. Sent from my SM-G388F using Tapatalk

New kit announced in the coming days

Isn't there at least one court case to keep us occupied during the summer, the world cup football won't last forever.....

New kit announced in the coming days

My "you're not as slim as you used to be moment" was when I was digging out the summer trousers for work earlier in the year and several pairs now cut off the circulation below the waist. Had to dig out the exercise bike as well. :(

New kit announced in the coming days

For a stock take you have to make sure that the products and the levels of those products you should have are present on the premises. This doesn't always match up with what is on the computer thanks to shoplifters/light fingered staff/administration errors etc. and you have to count everything...

    No expense spared then ?

In a previous job I met a nice guy from the states who was involved in the motor industry. I mentioned that I'd seen a Hummer the previous day and it was customised with under chassis lighting and tinted windows. He said that GM were going to lose their shirt on the brand thanks in no small...

New kit announced in the coming days

No given the comments about the state of the stock levels (but depending on procedure) it shouldn't take too long especially if you've got everything bar coded and have a hand held reader. Sent from my GT-I8190N using Tapatalk

    No expense spared then ?

The (two faced) council had planned for this station in the original build but the government (department for transport and the strategic rail authority) said no. Funny thing is I seem to remember that shortly after the Ricoh was built that the Nuneaton line wasn't being used because of...

    Charles Kennedy RIP

We had only recently (last week) watched him on Have I Got News For You and was shocked to hear the news this morning. He was apparently a very nice bloke who stuck to his guns/beliefs no matter who he was likely to be disagreeing with (even his own party) and my thoughts are with his family...

    'Staying Up' by R.A. Gekoski

It's about one of our seasons in the premier league and was written by a bloke who was given unusually good access to the club and team. He even got to travel on the team coach and said even the chairman wasn't allowed by Gordon to do that. I used to read it on the way to games and it was a very...

    Walking in a Mowbray Wonderland?

It's the word expected that worries me. Hopefully it won't be but will wait and see.
