Match Thread Coventry City vs. Birmingham City Match Thread - Saturday 25th Jan

Disagree. It wasn't a good spectacle, but not too critical of us, we were the better side, and it wasn't ugly, just a lack of opportunities. Atmosphere was flat at times also.

Match Thread Coventry City vs. Birmingham City Match Thread - Saturday 25th Jan

Awful game really. Barely a shot on target all afternoon from either side. We shaded it though, gutted with the late miss and could do without the replay.

    Where are you drinking Saturday?

Tbf outside is fine. Just a group of about 30 Blues in the main bar getting a bit lairy. Outside areas are cool and mostly Cov.

Roost starting to get a bit edgy!

    Where are you drinking Saturday?

Roost OK at the minute. Slightly more cov than Blues at the moment.

    Where are you drinking Saturday?

Planning to get there at 11.30, so if it's already full by then it will be a major headache. What about the Cricketers? That's away fan friendly for Blues games so should be OK tomorrow?

    First timers at St Andrews

Don't know why people think they'll be loads of first timers there tomorrow. They'll be a few, but vast majority will have been at some point.

    Where are you drinking Saturday?

After exploring all the options, will just go in the Roost. What's the worst that can happen? :hurting:

    BBC article about Saturday's game

I notice the comments on the article have taken a bit of a turn. Call me cynical, but some of the language used is very similar to that used by the usual suspects on twitter.

    BBC article about Saturday's game

Not heard it once. In fact, I don't know anyone refusing to go to SA on principle. I know people going a lot less, but none that are boycotting. I suspect it is a very small number.

It won't be near empty, it'll be over half full.

    Where are you drinking Saturday?

Where did you see that? Nothing on the CCFC or BCFC police twitter accounts. That would be surprising and annoying in equal measure.

    Sunderland Game On The Tele

This is shit. Nobody benefits from this. Fans hate it and the money the club gets barely covers the lost ticketing revenue.

    Where we all sitting Saturday?

Wouldn't worry. I think it will be bouncing, nothing like the last few games. It will have an away day feel. In my usual seat, S34, back row, as close to away fans as possible (or bank of empty seats in this case).

    Blues Game

I'm sure this is their logic, but I'm not sure I buy it. We had FA Cup semi finals at neutral grounds where every seat was taken with an even split of tickets. It isn't beyond the wit of man. Still, there's no changing it and I'm sure it will be rocking in there regardless.

    Blues Game

That might be the reason, but it shouldn't be. At most grounds in England opposing supporters enter via turnstiles that are adjacent to each other, including grounds that stage some of the most volatile derby fixtures in the land.

    Public Demo Question

Just under 21K I think. 9300 Blues, 10,500 of us.

    Blues Game

The number who gave done that would be quite small, most of those will have just paid on the gate and most of those will have got tickets in the Blues end. We're talking a tiny number I'd imagine. Blues tickets only sold out today anyway, by which time there were only a handful of our seats left.

    Blues Game

It'll be a handful at most who have sourced tickets through cov mates. Not worth worrying about.
