Only problem with that though mate is we sold our best defender to pay that fee. ( wonder how many of us would rather we had kept Turner now ) If Sisu did buy McGoldrick for £400 - £500k then I would expect one of our better players to be sold. Who ever they are.

I think your right, the council want the area around the Ricoh to be built up and jobs created. Weather the football club needs to be there for that to work is the question. I'm sure that the Arena can work without Ccfc, which is a worry.
