I totally agree with all of that, but you've side stepped the issue of how starving the club of income in the here and now will more likely damage the club in the long run, rather than benefit it. It really is cutting off your nose to spite your face.

And think "If they don't like me... I'm screwed" We become too much of a risk.

It will already take years to recover from this mess. Starvation of income will only make recovery take longer.

Initial reaction to this (with no attempt to question your credibility) is... I'll believe it when I see it. Maybe I just don't want to, but I really think that we'll be playing at The Ricoh next season, by hook or crook.

I would say a starvation of the only income they get makes it very likely indeed IMHO
