Walsall Talks Have Taken Place - Darryl Murphy

Once we're there, we're there Don. Poor attendance would simply kill the club, not move it back to Coventry. That's not the fans fault, its the board, FL and Walsall. I don't blame fans for not traveling to Walsall but I also don't agree that any positive outcome could be achieved through fans...

Man Beheaded in the street in Woolwich

I don't think we should tolerate it anywhere. In response to Paxman, I think denying medical attention is a bit... for want of a better word, extreme.

    Anyone for golf?

To be fair to Clouting, he wasn't the most evil on the greatest board ever assembled at a football club. He was just bad by association. His main focus was getting City involved in the local community, and didn't really have much to do with "Text-a-Sub", the transfer Drought or the never ending...

Man Beheaded in the street in Woolwich

As an example of the most common prejudice. Undisputedly, it is. All I'm doing is defining the line of what it is and isn't appropriate to say, as there seems to be confusion.

Man Beheaded in the street in Woolwich

Gallows humour I suppose. Just the way it's written - I work with tragedy full time, it's known for people in my line of work to have a black sense of humour. I understand why it obviously isn't very funny at all... Sometimes it's difficult to define appropriateness when humour is a coping...

Man Beheaded in the street in Woolwich

Well... It is a bit racist. The part where you define the actual facts isn't racist but then it invariably leads to taring all Muslims and immigrants with the same brush. That part is racist. Within 3 hours of the Boston Bombings, despite no one knowing anything about it, the number 1 trending...

Man Beheaded in the street in Woolwich

Obviously this is horrific - but this made me laugh a little... Extracts from a fellas witness account on Twitter!! 'Ohhhhh myyyy God!!!! I just see a man with his head chopped off right in front of my eyes! 'Oh my God!!!! The way Feds took them out!!! It was a female police officer she come...

    Which club would you support?

It depends on who has the right to claim the history. I'll support the club that brought me so many happy memories growing up. The club that lifted the FA cup in 87, that stormed the leagues with Jimmy to stay in the top flight for over 3 decades. The club with the badge I have adorned all over...

What are YOU doing to help get SISU out ?

He's a Villa fan isn't he? No chance - he's probably joined the search for an alternate ground for a laugh!!

    How many on here

My point was to appreciate our differences in order to work towards a common goal. I'm sorry but my circumstances simply won't allow me to contribute towards a boycott. I'm not inflicting this childish way of men on my 4 year old daughter and putting her off something she loves for good...

How Much Of The Ricoh Is For Sale?

Monetary yes, but if it wasn't for CCFC, that part of the city would look a whole lot different. The Olympics wouldn't have come, Oasis, Take That, England U21s, Ladies FA Cup Final etc - There'd have been no where in Coventry for those events. So, financially, CCFC didn't make as big a...

    How many on here

I just posted on another thread about the seemingly emerging sense of unity amongst our fractured support base. Looks like I was wrong and those who I thought were starting to see the shades of grey are again reverting to black and white, goodies and baddies, cops and robbers, Mario and Bowzer...

Acl response to the Fisher Arena

It's true, it goes back way further than SISU. You only have to cast your mind back to the Ron Atkinson era when Richardson allowed him to spend more than any manager in the history of the club, only for us to survive by the skin of our teeth. That then spurred almost 20 years of over spending...

Acl response to the Fisher Arena

Unless the ruling has changed, SISU will never have to pass the fit and proper persons test as no one has more than a 10% share in the club - It is only at that point to they have to take the test.
