Legal Argument

I think he was highlighting how trivial it all is. The fact that sisu are willing to end 130 years of football in the city over the equivalent cost of two players. It would be a bit like your business shutting down over that computer cost.

    ACL: Internet Rumours Are Untrue

Isn't it lucky ccfc have a landlord who wont evict them despite everything they've done? Surely even the anti acl/council lot must be pleased that acl have ensured Coventry city aren't moving to Walsall?

Playing elsewhere ! Who says so ?

I would rather support Coventry city on -500 points than some team in Walsall.

Playing elsewhere ! Who says so ?

Im just saying how I interpret it. Guess we will have to see what happens this morning.

Playing elsewhere ! Who says so ?

If sisu are trying to do what it looks like their trying to do, then the rent agreement with acl is now void. Therefore ccfc cannot play at the Ricoh.

    Court case still on

Confirmed as still being on 'in some form' according to Cwr

Other ground shares and where they ended up

How many of those clubs moved back into their permenant grounds with the same owner that took them out?

No more games at the Ricoh

Premiership? Seriously what planet are you on? Presumably the club would have to borrow money in the interim, where will they get that from?

No more games at the Ricoh

Rent reduced to £400k. Paying £400k a year to play at the Ricoh, or £30m to build a new one. It would take 75 years for the club to see the benefit of that.

If playing outside of coventry meant more investment....?

Not a chance, if I wanted to support someone good that had no connection with Coventry I would have picked Man Utd as my team. I support my hometown team, my club, my city. If they move to a ground out of the area, thats 20+ years off my loyalty to the club thown back at me.

Best future it can have? What planet are you on mate? How much of a drop do you think the club will lose in ticket sales? Apparently now the £200k F&B is supposed to secure the future of the club, that equates to 579 people attending each game. So basically if a move to Walsall puts off...

    Confused.com

Think the ramifications he refers to are that a sports club can build up a load of debt, transfer it to a subsidiary, let it go bust and then carry on as normal.

Think the courts will put us into admin tomorrow

At least it might stop a move to Walsall. Why do you want to support a Black Country team?

No more games at the Ricoh

What do you class as a short period of time? If they leave the Ricoh, CCFC will never play another game in Coventry until Sisu go. Therefore I have no interest in financially supporting some club playing in Walsall.

Think the courts will put us into admin tomorrow

Think they already have got away with it as far as CCFC Ltd is concerned. However it will be interesting to see if CCFCH can be put into admin by ACL. Is that possible?

No more games at the Ricoh

Absolutely nothing to stop them agreeing to the new deal and then renegotiating it in a sensible way once the dust settles.

Brave? Its madness. How much do you think this is going to cost the club?
