    Average away support

Blues have still to come to us though, so probably not for long. Relatively small allocations at our closest rivals doesn't help us. Not that its likely anytime soon but playing MK Dons again would change matters considerably!!

    Songs We No Longer Sing

Ooh Aah Lloyd Mcgrath He's fat and round and scores at every ground, Micky Quinn We'll meet you all outside, we'll meet you all outside, we'll meet you all, we'll meet you all outside - sang by the Kop to away supporters in late 70's

    Average away support

It's bound too. Anyone playing at our place could potentially have a following of 4,500. The only away grounds we could have a similar following as far as I know are Wigan and Blackburn, both of whom we play mid-week this season. A useful addition to the table would have been the number of sold...

Notts County have also sung it for years, although slightly differently.

    Songs We No Longer Sing

Unless I've missed it surprised no one has brought up the repeated 'Hey Jude' chorus where we simply replaced Hey Jude with Sky Blues that sometimes would go on for ages. Also fondly remember the West End singing 'Lip up fatty, Lip up fatty fatty Rimmer' at the Villa game to the Bad Manners...

    Songs We No Longer Sing

I remember that too. It was the 5-0 League Cup quarter final game. I thought the chant went something like ''who's that twat in the dungarees'. Your version rhymes better but I'm sure the dungarees were referenced in the chant. I also remember him then trying to look inconspicuous afterwards...

    The Orange Ball

Shaw came mid season, after we failed to sign Coleman first. Don't ever reall us being linked with Southgate. The Bowyer interest was in the Summer break when we signed McAllister. Am positive we tried to sign Richard Rufus at the same time.

    The Orange Ball

Lee Bowyer and Richard Rufus from Charlton?

    The Orange Ball

Was definitely a good day for us. Those highlights make Ally Pickering look like a top player!

    The Manchester Pub - Blackpool

I was a bit worried that the tribute to him would be at our match there, but I see they play QPR first, so we won't now be painted as the bad guys if some of our fans ended disrespecting whatever kind of tribute they have in mind.

    Gyok or Wilson

I guess it would give Clive another 'as it stands' table to cream his pants about.

Ben Wilson' race for the golden glove?!

With 11 games to play, the law of averages probably means he will make at least one error leading to a goal between now and the end of the season. We need to keep his performances this season in mind to give that some perspective when he does and hope that any mistakes are not crucial ones, as...

    Fifteen Years

I was another from GMK. Under Nev & Smiler I thought GMK was excellent, but it fell apart under Knowl when it became very cliquey.

    Gyokeres

Don't disagree with that, and maybe I was getting carried away with that run in the first half. Regis was very quick over 10 yards and could initially burst past players, or as I said before defenders would kind of bounce off him as he was so strong. Gyokeres has those same physical attributes...

    Gyokeres

You not think that run he made in the 1st half with 4 of their players struggling to match his physicality and pace did not have a touch of Regis about it?

    Gyokeres

For me the player Gyokeres has most similarities to from our past in terms of style of play is Cyrille Regis. Both have fantastic control where the ball can be fired at them, but that they manage to still somehow control it and turn. Gyokeres also has that Regis like balance and speed when...

    Transfer Shouts

I suspect if Notts & Wrexham were in League 2 they would be leading that league also. The current Notts team re certainly a better footballing team than the one Nolan had when we met them in the play offs. Langstaff is absolutly on fire.

    Championship 22-23

QPR is where he had the most successful spell of his playing career so there is bound to be an emotional tug to him returning to manage there. He is also near the upper limit of how far he can realistically take Wycombe, so I can see the QPR job being very attractive to him.

    Home v Sunderland 12.30, Sky, £33 a ticket

Not sure how our sales look compared to normal but hopefully 2 wins on the bounce will tempt our supporters to provide a good turnout next weekend. Certainly 20,000 plus I would hope.
