    Any spare tickets for Blackburn????

Pretty sure last season they made out there were no ticket sales on the day, but it wasn't actually the case in reality. They only had 14,000 against Hull and their fans don't seem to be up for the game, so there will be plenty of room for anyone wanting to go.

    Could 71 points be enough?

This is exactly the reason there is no point making predictions. In this league if you can predict 50% of the results of games you are doing well, and is why using the fixture calculator tool is pretty pointless. There are so many variables! Difficult though it is to not get too far ahead of...

    140 year anniversary

They have never been called the Sky Blues. Their nickname was always the Light Blues!

    Blackburn

Our away support has been a big factor in our recent away victories, and mid week or not this game is of such proportions that a huge turnout could definitely prove a positive factor in us winning the game. Let's do this!

Supporters forum - Thursday 12th April

With regard to the JSB tickets, presumably they are accompanied by adults paying full price! We need to tread carefully here, as you can't put a value on capturing your future support early, and until we reach a point that we can sell out the ground, 'giving away' tickets to that demographic...

    Championship 22-23

It's nothing to do with fearing QPR as such, but you must know by now that on any given day, we can win, lose or draw against any team in this division. There are so may variables which will only pan out as the game unfolds. The fear is more one of the law of averages, in that they are due to...

    Season tickets

I don't see it makes much diiference what league we're in. If we stay where we are season ticket holders get 23 games, but if we go up they get 4 less, so there is already a pro rata increase built in should we get promoted, if the price is the same in both scenarios. I imagine its match day...

    Championship 22-23

I'd certainly rather we try to sign Ince than Paterson, that's for sure!

Player & Manager of the Season shortlist

I don't remember a lot of people tipping Burnley as certainties to go up at the start of the season, so on that basis I think Kompany has done a hell of a job, even if accepting that next season presents them a wholly different challenge.

    Championship 22-23

Given that he's presumably going to be unsettled at Reading I was going to suggest Tom Ince as a possible Summer signing, but just looking up on him I was surprised to see he is already 31. Seems to me he has had a fairly unfulfilled career given the promise he once showed.

    Gyokeres switches to 'top' agent

Not completely disagreeing with you, but when you say a 'top class centre forward', can you give me an example. They're not exactly 10 a penny, which is why I expect us to get more than £15m for Gyokeres in the Summer. Replacing him will be far more difficult than a lot of our supporters seem to...

Match Thread ⚽️ Queens Park Rangers vs Coventry City Match Thread - Saturday 15th Apr

Their comeback against West Brom will have lifted them, and with some of their injured players returning this could be tougher than if we had played them a couple of weeks ago. Ainsworth's post match comments after their game yesterday were certainly bullish, saying they will win their next game!

I presume that statement is supposed to fill us with confidence. Years of watching City however, means it actually does the opposite!

Match Thread ⚽️ Coventry City vs Watford Match Thread - Monday 10th Apr

The trouble with Watford is that we know that they have the players, and if they click on a given day they can beat anyone in this league. Their defeat by Huddersfield might also result in them showing more mettle against us. Then again as a poster said earlier, they could already be packing...

    End of september to now

I find it quite funny that this was biting at you to the extent that you've hung on nearly 5 months to give it an 'I told you so' reply. We just need Hudlin to come good now :)

    Max Biamou the club legend

Waghorn and Biamou both scored 5 league goals the season before we signed/ released them. Waghorn's decline had already begun truth be told even though he had clearly had a good career all in all prior to that, but was not worthy of the investment made in him. Biamou was only going to slide...

Match Thread ⚽️ Swansea City vs Coventry City Match Thread - Friday 7th Apr

What we need to do and failed to do after going 3 up in the home game is have a high defensive line and compress the space they have to play their passing game. There are obviously inherent risks in that, should one of their forwards be pacy enough to break behind our defensive line, but...
