Poor record on 1st April

Last time I went to Walsall it was a boring 0-0 evening game. Think that was April.

POINTS REDUCTION - a tad unfair methinks !!!

It is unfair for us, but we are looking at it from our own perspective. Basically we've been fielding a team we can't afford, therefore we have gained an advantage over well run clubs.

    Brum town centre tomorrow

One of my mates is a Leicester fan living in Cov. He went to watch them play West Brom, after the match the police just forced them all onto a train to Leicester. He then had to make his own way back to Cov. Police can be bastards in these situations.

thoughts on any possible stadium deal

That was PWKH's point about redevelopment. For the club to have a sustainable future it must have income streams at the Ricoh, but they must be maximised as income at the moment would make little difference.

thoughts on any possible stadium deal

Ricoh income streams will generate the best future for CCFC.

    Rio Ferdinand

I agree with you on that. However that point means that a general insult can be as bad or worse than a racist one.

    Rio Ferdinand

Can you explain why its worse? That is a genuine question because I dont understand. I remember at school being called some very hurtful things, none related to race. Presumably if I wasn't white and someone mentioned the B word (Black), I could have gone to the police?

    Stuart Linnell should be sacked

If this club lost £1.3m a year I would be agreeing with you. The other £3-£4m losses a year are down to the club though. Why don't Sisu sort out those problems first and then they may look competent and are more likely to get support for their stance on rent?

    attendance

Id have put it nearer 11k as well.

    Councillor Kevin Maton

Because 1 councillors opinion doesn't make it council policy.

    Stuart Linnell should be sacked

He did build good roads as well!

    Sides

Do you have a figure of how many members the trust has now?
  14. coundonskyblue

    Councillor Kevin Maton

We dont need to own the ground, we only need to own acl.

    Stuart Linnell should be sacked

Why are you obsessed with slagging off Sisu?

    Getting rid of SISU

In what scenario can you invisage that Sisu get £60m back for the club?
  17. coundonskyblue

Apologies if I have missed it!

It still normally gets published though.

    Stuart Linnell should be sacked

    stupot07 I think.
  19. coundonskyblue

    Stuart Linnell should be sacked

To quote Linnell, I don't think that is the majority view. You know my opinions on Sisu, they are pretty similar to my views of Thorn.

    Councillor Kevin Maton

But Sisu can't be trusted with the stadium. The Council needs to say they will sell, but only to responsible investors who will run it for the benefit of Coventry.
