    Can't help thinking...

Exactly - before CCFC he had no experience of running any company, let alone a football club.

CET: Sky Blues take Coventry City Council to high court over bailout

Yes, and my point was that I hope the Football League are taking note. Football and business are one thing, but using a football club to squeeze the life out of another company, in order to acquire its assets, should be off limits. Football was told only recently to reform or there would be...

CET: Sky Blues take Coventry City Council to high court over bailout

Blatantly using ownership of a Football League club to distress the company managing a community asset. I hope the Football League are taking note of this and will remember it when/if they have to decide if SISU are fit and proper owners.

What income do CCFC have after Saturday?

I can't be bothered to look at the rules, but I think this pittance will not be paid if the club is in administration.

Agree with it or not, what has a comment about Margaret Thatcher got to do with the destruction of Coventry City FC? If you follow that line, any one who has been critical of Winston Churchill must be partly responsible for the destruction of Coventry Cathedral.

    Who Pays the Administrator ?

I know little of accountancy or administration, but in my experience a company will call in the administrators themselves to head off action by its creditors, to demonstrate belief that the company can be salvaged and to demonstrate that they are in control of the situation. They are generally...

    Who Pays the Administrator ?

The administrator is an officer of the court. He must declare any previous relationship with the creditor that appointed him and cannot prefer a particular creditor because they were appointed by that creditor. I hope you are not suggesting that the administrator for CCFC Ltd has strayed from...

    Latest SISU Press Release....

It smacks of a desperate attempt by someone to show that they (SISU) still have some relevant part to play. It seems as if the other players in this drama would rather talk to the administrator as they believe he is in control of the parts of the club that matter. 'Tis a pity that the appeal...

    Club withdraw points appeal

The legal advice could well have been along the lines of "In view of your apparent financial situation, we will require £x as a deposit against our fees".

    A Chippy. SISUed.

Or he might decide there were more customers (and more money) to be had if he sold kebabs. Or forget fast food altogether and turn it into a massage parlour.

    Yes or no... Mr Administrator

What makes you think SISU are a "multi million pound company"? Their meagre assets won't last five minutes if serious litigation gets under way.

    Yes or no... Mr Administrator

It seems to me that " SISU's 'preferred' administrator" made his point during the week by filing the revised Memorandum & Articles and suggesting a number of times that he would be speaking to the Football League. Hopefully, the appeal might clear this up with a definitive statement from the...

    Breaking news CITY TO APPEAL

I find myself quite glad that Holdings have appealed this. We don't know the basis for the appeal, but as they are not (yet) in administration, the appeal must be about the ownership of the Golden Share and this could get interesting. Football was told only recently to reform or there would be...

    Breaking news CITY TO APPEAL

I noticed that, but I suspect it is just clumsily phrased - he was appointed as "joint administrator" in the matter of Limited but by using this in the same sentence as "joint basis" (for the appeal) he has caused some ambiguity.

    Breaking news CITY TO APPEAL

It seems to me that Paul Appleton has undermined any claim that Holdings has to the Golden Share by: a) Filing the changes to the Memorandum and Articles - today b) Making it a joint appeal - why has he got involved if he believes that Holdings own the share?

    OSB: What does this mean?

Have you read it? It says exactly the opposite. This is presumably the administrator tidying up things that should have been done by the directors.

    Whats your gut reaction

Go now. Keep up the pressure on SISU - they are getting nervous about negative press coverage.

I think you can be expecting a letter from Geoffrey's lawyers.

Geoffrey Robinson and Jim Cunningham have their say...

Geoffrey Robinson "A council and a charity are not people to be running a stadium". So Geoffrey, why were they invited to bail out the club by investing in the stadium during the years of your mismanagement?
