I have to say I honestly wasn't anti-SISU nor pro-SISU for that matter - originally I thought they were just a bit daft buying into someone else's ideas of making a fast buck on a quick Prem return and a grab for the stadium - yes they screwed it up and this is the result- the most recent events...

So the club paid out over £1million in bonuses last year and they project it will be higher this year ! Great!!! ACL are going to love that then Mr Fisher - we're going to pay out more in bonuses than we need to for the rent ... which we ... er ... can't pay .. FFS this is getting ridiculous

If the win bonus is a significant part of the total earnings then it's a good thing - if it's only a small amount then it doesn't really hurt if you don't get it - in which case you might as well not have it

Collective bonuses never really work in my experience as there are too many variables that are out of the individuals control - doing on a per game basis should achieve the end result and people feel able to make a difference. Ok sure there can be a big one-off bonus on top at the end of the...

Not sure we should be in a big hurry to get any 'big teams' up at the Ricoh - would far rather have a decent run in the league to get into a winning mentality before the bubble gets burst by some decent opposition

But wasn't the club in a bigger financial mess when they agreed these original contracts? The debt was still massive then and the wages bill bigger than the turnover - never mind the running costs rent etc. I think the only difference now is SISU have decided they do not want to fund the clubs...

Firmly in the real world Grendel - been dealing with this sort of thing for years in manufacturing businesses and you just can't treat employees like this - YES they are on a lot of money - they all are - but they were employed under a specific contract - the only thing I object to is the notion...

Depends on the terms of the contract - if they were paid bonuses for example for playing and couldn't get them because they were barred from playing that would be constructive dismissal

ACL is suing the club now over a breach of contract No players suing that we know of - maybe there will be a tribunal in the future - who knows - if one player refuses to sign and gets benched then yes expect it Am I happy with them getting a share of £1M? NO Did they deserve it? NO Am I happy...

The new players had contacts with all this in in from day one so no issue there - they knew the terms up front The other players on older contracts - all SISU contracts by the way - signed on those terms - that's fair enough Who is going to want to sign for us going forward if they can't trust...

If you refused to play a player who refused to sign a contract on different terms to the one they already had that would be unfair

I has doing just great full as the next man with optimism for the next season - then we have all this shite shovelled on us just as we are about to get started....
