on the back of jo ,s comments is it time for new team at the ricoh

You might think a club with an average attendance of 500 playing in a stadium that can hold over 50,000 is a fantasy, but Queens Park are living that fantasy at Hampden.

    Fans fighting outside sixfields

Be positive, it's not defeat. It's your first step on the fightback - you will soon be adding NOPM and SISU OUT to your posts :D

    New ground

And more shops are just what is needed aren't they? It's not like you see them closing down every day of the week. Surprising someone else hasn't thought of this, but obviously not every one has SISU's business sense.

    Most Cringeworthy Chants

I remember Everton fans, at Goodison, directing those noises at Ian St John who had just signed for City. As the fan ran off, St John pelted him with the bananas and went on to score - so I guess he had the last laugh.

    Uwe Rosler's View

Look at the fools in the ground is more likely.

    Should I go or not

Not many I imagine, they would have to sit next to and, perhaps, talk to another fan and, heavens above, that other fan might be a bit critical. That wouldn't be nice at all, Sixfields is much more refined.

    Uwe Rosler's View

Lobotomies were barbaric operations performed, until the 1950s, on those diagnosed as mentally unstable. The effects, on the poor devils subject to the operation, were apathy, passivity, lack of initiative and a decreased depth and intensity of their emotional response to life. From all...

    Uwe Rosler's View

Enlightening me? You weren't enlightening me, you were making excuses for why you attend. If I wanted you to enlighten me, I would require a lobotomy beforehand.

    Uwe Rosler's View

"Coventry's home games are like a pre-season game in many ways. There is nobody on the terraces who really lifts the players and the atmosphere is quiet." Uwe, believe it or not, that is how many of our "home" fans seem to like it.

    Your move next ACL???

Why is the next move down to ACL? JS said she wanted the freehold and ACL are only leaseholders.

So overall the JS statement positive or negative

Quote by JS: “If I was asked, ‘Would I make the same investment again that we made in 2007, I would say, ‘No’." I should think her investors at the time must be thinking the same. Comparing the state of the club in 2007 to the state it is in now, how could anyone claim that this is a better...

The financial arguement for a new ground

Citing Rotherham as an example is very misleading. The council in Rotherham were right behind the project - they bought the land for the stadium, gave a long lease to the club and lent them £5m towards the cost of the stadium. Planning permission was never an issue and the council were behind...

    Did this happen

So what is the deal with Northampton if not a rent deal?

    Key Quotes from Reid/Seppala

What a load of bluster - does the woman take us all for complete idiots? No sane person would give them a penny to invest in CCFC or to build a new stadium, yet she expects us to believe it. I think the move to Northampton must be hurting them for her to give this interview.

Les Reid Exclusive INterview with Seppalla....

After six long years, the owner finally condescends to speak with a few fans and a local paper - hoo-frigging-ray! Maybe she has finally realised what a deep hole their skulduggery has dug for themselves.

    The PR game

Doing PR for SISU is, perhaps, a bit like polishing a turd.

More Misery for sisu: Result of poll of over 500 CCFC fans

How, by shouting "SISU OUT", by boycotting the Ricoh, by signing petitions? Or is there some other guaranteed way to get rid of these maggots?
  19. R

So what happens to the Ricoh if CCFC don't return?

Neither do I, but ACL, in conjuction with the city council, could do a lot to encourage and facilitate the creation of a community based club to make use of the Ricoh.

More Misery for sisu: Result of poll of over 500 CCFC fans

It is utter (and understandable) frustration. A lot of people look at the current state of the club and the lack of ambition and attitude of the owners and don't see a future that involves anything positive happening very soon. It is quite understandable for someone whose life doesn't revolve...
