    Favourite moment of the season

4pm today followed by Bakayoko’s very late equaliser against Doncaster @ SA.

Standing in the pissing rain at Forest Green.

Yes that Oxford away game was the lowest point for me. Checkatrade and L2 final helped us get rid of the losing mentality that has dogged us for years. Finally that 1st home game this season v Southend - there was a real unity between the club and fans that I have rarely seen in 45 years of...

    Most Shocked About A Result

Yes I think we were. The mood in the bar at HT wasn’t the best if I recall!

    Most Shocked About A Result

I’ll also add the 4-1 defeat at Oxford in 2016. I have seen some abject performances over the years but that was appalling. Knew that afternoon we were going down - 1st time I ever left a game after 60 minutes (When 4th goal went in) and I wasn’t alone.

    Most Shocked About A Result

7-1 defeat at West Brom - given the team that played that day I just didn’t see a result like that being possible.

    Jordan Shipley Goals

Mate of mine works on the coaching team at one of the top PL teams. He’s tells me that Shipley is highly thought of by other managers and has attracted interest but that at the moment he loves playing for us and doesn’t want to leave .

    Most Enjoyable away wins

Remember it well. 3 games left, season virtually over, looking like relegation A handful of us went on the coach from Leamington ( the old CCFC supporters club run by Gordon and Malcom). Friday night, feeling pretty hopeless to be honest but Stole already down and very few people there...

    Favourite XI you’ve seen live

Yes I think we probably are - I’m 55, saw my first game 74/5 and was hooked straightaway. Fair shout on Strachan - I’m sure he came on as a sub at the Dell and got us back in the game almost single handedly - finished 2-2 iirc. Liam Daish was sat with the Cov fans. Funny what you remember and...

    Most Enjoyable away wins

I was there that day too - travelled up on my own. Huckerby was immense that afternoon and Leeds list folded. As somebody else has already mentioned I was celebrating like a loon with complete strangers.

    Most Enjoyable away wins

That was probably the 1st away game I ever went to - went with a mate from school and his dad and uncle and sat in the stand opposite the tunnel. There seemed to be fighting all game on the South Bank as I don’t think there was much segregation back then.

Players we didn't give a chance to and pretty much immediately dismissed - Take no patience

Keith Houchen - 1st game 0f season @ West Ham 86/7 looked like a Div 3 player, never did anything in league thereafter but from Jan 87 became a Sky Blue legend Nuddy - £25k from Highlanders (who?) - signed I think by Butcher , round about the same time, iirc, Paul Furlong. Greg Downes -...

City's Hardest XI - Take No Prisoners

Just looked it up - it was after 20 minutes.

City's Hardest XI - Take No Prisoners

Wasn’t it Kenny Burns at or near half-time?

City's Hardest XI - Take No Prisoners

I’d add Sam Allardyce to the list - iirc him and Harford were going at it all game at St. Andrews mid 80s and it was Harford who went off battered and covered in blood.
