To me it's all about the defence. When you have a solid back 4 behind you its much easier to play an attacking flowing game if you have the players capable of doing that. But when our defence went wrong, mainly because of injuries, TM and the team have been much more cautious in their playing...

The OP is right though, getting on players backs won't achieve anything at all. Us supporters can make a huge difference by the atmosphere we create during the remaining games.

It's worse than that, after Saturday, Southend play 3 games before we play again. Tuesday 16th against Bradford, Monday 22nd against Burton, and Friday 26th against Port Vale. So even though they are fairly tough games I would expect Southend to be above us by the time we play again, whatever...

Yes, and everything about yesterday's game suggests to me things will get better. We didn't have as much possession as we would have liked but TM says these were our tactics, to sit back and hit them on the break. One win and we will be back playing our usual game.
