Were Rochdale conned by our tactics yesterday? Soak up pressure and look totally inept for most of the game, then hit them devastatingly on the break? - a sort of football equivalent of the rope-a-dope.

Irrespective of the performance today, the point is we have closed the gap, and done it in 2 games, which last week I didn't think was possible. We need to hang in until January and hope we can get some players we really need. The season isn't over yet.

I don't think its a curse but has anyone noticed that apart from the premiership the bottom club in the other 3 divisions all begin with "C" (Cardiff, Coventry & Cambridge). Maybe if we changed our name we might get some better luck.
