Yes to be fa Yes, also if Wright had scored that chance at the end of the game and we had won no doubt the criticism levels would be lower.

Nominations for Earlsdon's new voodoo doll

I think Grendel's views on Biamou would have run him close.

It was naive of Rushworth not to keep his eye on the ball. However, the gap for Brannagan was already there before he moved the ball, the wall was simply set up badly. It wasn't only me that saw this at the time as Oggy was screaming about this even before Brannagan moved the ball, commenting...

Transfer Rumour Bassette to FC Utrecht

Odds are that you are right, particularly if FL remains manager. Things change quickly in football however, and should he bang in the goals, particularly given his age, his value will increase even given the league he is playing in, and in which case if we still don't want him he would command...

    Look after Woolfy

It wasn't. Brannagan had already spied the opportunity and made it even better by moving the ball. The shot went in about a yard from the goal post which was more than the ball was moved so he would have likely scored the way the wall was set up even without moving the ball. Oggy had spotted it...

Transfer Rumour Bassette to FC Utrecht

We will have boobed if the loan deal is with an option to buy, as the only way they buy him will be if his loan is a success, in which case his value increases and we don't get to benefit from his improvement. On the flip side we only get him back if his loan fails and his value incrementally...

    Sheaf to Wrexham

Sheaf leaves with my thanks and appreciation for his part in moving the club forward to a place I thought unimaginable 10 years ago, and he deserves to be held in high esteem by our support because of that.

    Thomas Asante

.... but BTA only scored 4 league goals himself last season! Having scored 2 this season those stats suggest we can expect a bit of a drought moving forward. Saka provides far more to the team. He gives us more balance, better coverage for our wing back, is more likely to provide assists and...

    Rushworth or Wilson

Hoping this is just a blip on Rushworth's part and that he will prove to be the keeper we'd hoped for when he signed. If this form continues though I can see us curtailing his loan in January if we are able and looking for an alternative. Apt for a keeper, but its in his hands!

    Rushworth or Wilson

Didn't mention the first goal! Not so sure it went through a gap in the wall as you say but it did go close to Torp who wasn't in the wall. The ball did swerve a bit and wasn't an easy save, but having got to it he might be disappointed to have not pushed the ball out wider. It was a bit unlucky...

    Rushworth or Wilson

Sorry, but he was badly at fault for the second goal. If your keeper positoned a wall so poorly playing Sunday League he would rightly get pelters, and if Wilson had done the same he would have been slaughtered on here. It was clear what Brannagan was going to try to do and he made it easy for...

    We cannot defend set pieces

The second goal today was criminal. Because we've been keen to put the regular Collins/ Wilson howlers behind us, Rushworth has pretty much had a free ride so far, but he has got to buck his ideas up soon or else we will be bracketing him with them. Watching at home it was obvious what Brannagan...

    Thomas Asante

Fine, but don't include the Millwall game as being one of the last 2 games if you want to big up BTA's recent form! He deserves to keep his place at the moment, but he will have to continue his league form much beyond 2 games if he is likely to stay ahead of Saka in the long term.

Match Thread Oxford Utd vs Coventry City Saturday 30th August 3pm KO

We all know football doesn't always follow logic though. On paper and form we should win comfortably, but a combination of complacency, poor refereeing and bad luck could easily bite us on the arse. They are likely to try and get stuck into us so its important we are up for that battle, then...

    Leicester tickets

I think it will be quite funny if some of the points hoarders who bought Millwall tickets but didn't go to the game end up missing out to people with less points ;)

    Thomas Asante

To be fair Thomas-Asante only scored 4 league goals last season himself. I don't know for sure but if we are comparing like for like I presume Saka provided many more assists too. Sakamoto also operates well with MVE and provides us more of a defensive shield. I thought BTA was poor last night...

Match Thread Millwall - Coventry City [LC] Match Thread - Tuesday 26th Aug

The examples you give are FA Cup. If we bow out of the FA Cup like we did tonight then I will be pissed off. Just don't feel the same about this competition. Will gladly sacrifice a defeat tonight if it means us beating Oxford on Saturday.

Match Thread Coventry City - Queens Park Rangers Match Thread - Saturday 23rd Aug

Some bedwetters on here were quoting QPR as having done good business in the Summer before the season started, quoting them as an example of what we were missing out on and should be doing. Just because they've signed more players doesn't mean they will be any good!

    Millwall cup tickets

Am I the only one that thinks its a bit rich for point hoarders to try to sell on their tickets? They've got their points in the bag so take the hit, its hardly a fortune in this instance! If you want to get rid then have the decency to give the tickets away!

Transfer Rumour 25/26 Summer Transfer Window

....... but if they think he's as crap as you do they wouldn't be in for him at all. If they are interested in signing him they must believe he can do a job in the PL, and if that's the case his market value is automatically higher than if the interest is only from the Championship.
