    Corporate Season tickets/Executive boxes

Nobody has said this though. There is universal acceptance that prices needed to rise. The issue is the sudden increase and questions about value when the facilities are absolutely dog shit when compared with other clubs. I've seen plenty of plenty people on this thread label those in corporate...

    Corporate Season tickets/Executive boxes

That comparison makes no sense. It is a season commitment, so it's £40 per game rather than £19, the only difference seemingly some instant coffee and a programme. Ultimately yes, people don't have to pay and I suspect many won't. They may force them to improve the experience, which is...

    Corporate Season tickets/Executive boxes

This would be a disaster. Games where the cheapest available adult ticket (with no family zone) is £35 would surely make us the most expensive in the league. Not sure we've earned the right to do that. People getting giddy thinking that because we sold out for two games that come along maybe...

    Corporate Season tickets/Executive boxes

This is fair, and I am well aware that many clubs are 20K+ for corporate boxes. It is a convenient comparison, but not one you can dismiss entirely. The point is really the sudden hike and where this leaves box holders from previous seasons. This could have been handled better and bridges not...

    Corporate Season tickets/Executive boxes

My understanding was that boxes were 9K ex vat, but could well be wrong on that.

    Corporate Season tickets/Executive boxes

I've seen it said that the average season ticket value last season, owing to all the concessions, was around £220 (£183 less VAT), so around £2.5 million in total. Boxes on their own would have been more than 10% of that, but adding other corporate ST sales, it would be way over 20%.

    Corporate Season tickets/Executive boxes

Big businesses buy boxes at Old Trafford, the 02 Arena or the Oval. They don't get a poxy little converted hotel room at Coventry City, unless there is a strong local connection. If they did, Birmingham City, who have been in the championship forever, would not be knocking out corporate boxes...

    Corporate Season tickets/Executive boxes

    Absolute nonsense.

    Corporate Season tickets/Executive boxes

Well I would suggest you're wrong. If you're talking boxes only, and there are around 30, it is significant enough; but we're talking about corporate generally, and there are 1500 people potentially, some paying up to £2000 with no concessions. Overall, revenues from corporate hospitality are...

    Corporate Season tickets/Executive boxes

That's not what I said. Again, nobody has suggested prices should not have increased. The point being argued is that, against a backdrop of inevitable price rises, some gesture was made to those companies that have remained loyal over the years, maybe an incremental increase over 2 seasons...

    Corporate Season tickets/Executive boxes

It's an important and disproportionate revenue source though and this is a big risk imo. I am free to question that even if it doesn't affect me directly.

What does you owning a business have to do with anything?

    Corporate Season tickets/Executive boxes

    Again, what's your point?

    Corporate Season tickets/Executive boxes

And Birmingham City have boxes at £11K. What's your point?

    Corporate Season tickets/Executive boxes

Anyone who has owned a business or worked in one will know that rewarding customer loyalty with price breaks or preferential deals in order to maintain the relationship is commonplace. People on here genuinely struggling with this concept.

CBS will have a box/boxes tied into the naming rights deal. Fraser's own the boxes. I'm not sure these companies having multiple boxes would yield the revenue you think it would.

    Corporate Season tickets/Executive boxes

I haven't seen anyone suggest that prices should be kept at current levels, there is universal acceptance they needed to rise. It's an eye-watering hike though, and it has been delivered late and with no consultation. Of course, all the boxes sell out and you'll be free to say I told you so.

    Corporate Season tickets/Executive boxes

The target audience is exactly the same. It is local business. Also, nobody has said the club owe anybody anything. Argue the points being made, not those you have made up in your head

    Corporate Season tickets/Executive boxes

No, it's good business. There are only 30 odd box holders and when a company I worked for had a box, Tynan was on the phone every 10 minutes. Imagine a business consulting with their customers ahead of a 200% price increase, how bonkers is that 😂

    Corporate Season tickets/Executive boxes

No, they have had one season of cheap prices. The post COVID season was always going to be cheap, many clubs offered big discounts, and many companies had paid for a box the previous season that they hadn't used once. They had to take that into account. Last season there should have been a...
