Most of those players are good enough for L1 IMO if they were playing in a good well balanced team. I still think we are only short of 3 or 4 good players in the right positions to produce a team which could have made the playoffs if put together at the start of the season

About the time TM left I posted on here that I thought the best we could hope for was to stay in touch with the other 23 clubs and hope that there is some budget left so we can finish the recruitment that was so badly fooked up over the summer. Personally am not too downbeat at the moment...

We were really lucky to get the "new manager bounce" when TM left, winning 4 of the first 6 under MV, 13 points from a possible 18. This is totally out of context with the rest of this season's results, and without that we would probably be well and truly adrift at the bottom now.

We need a good manager NOW who knows this league, been said many times before, I know. But that and some money for new players in January is what it will take to keep us up.
