Thats true it was too late to do us any good but 2 of those clubs had everything to play for so were obviously trying. I think the pressure was on us as well after the run we had. It does show that no result is a foregone conclusion though.

And don't forget everyone talks about the collapse last season but in the last 6 games we won 4 including Millwall (4th) Bradford (5th) Sheff U (11th) and only lost 1-0 away to Wigan.

That's not the same as saying no. Sounds like a politician's answer to me when asked if they are interested in running for their party leadership.

I think our best chance is if we sell one of these two to give us some money to get the right players in. I know what is likely to happen to the money if we do sell, just saying that seems to be our only realistic chance to me.
