    Play-offs

Derby -10+ points if they don’t get sent down this season. Then Blackpool or Lincoln coming up. Is it too early to think we stay up again next season?

    Tyson Fury vs Anthony Joshua

I don’t think Tyson is scared of AJ; but having seen some of the workouts and press recently it seems to me AJ is being ultra professional and Tyson not taking the threat too seriously (could be an act). For me it has always been a 50/50 Tyson would win on points but could also see AJ ironing...

    Tyson Fury vs Anthony Joshua

Does feel like Eddie has had been caught with his pants down. Although think AJ and Usyk is a really interesting fight if you like your technical boxing.

    Tyson Fury vs Anthony Joshua

Not buying some of this. Bob Arum will have known that the arbitrator would rule for Wilder & shock horror he is now stating raiders stadium on July 24th for the trilogy. I think team Fury have been playing games. Whilst AJ/Usyk and Fury/Wilder are both good fights they are also tough to call...

    Coronavirus Thread (Off Topic, Politics)

Re the 21st June I think part of the problem is Boris has over promised. Given not all adults are expected to have been jabbed until the end of July why would you remove all restrictions before then? In reality I think masks and 1 meter social distancing are here until the government can say we...

    Coronavirus Thread (Off Topic, Politics)

Be interesting what they do re all restrictions going on the 21st June. The vibe on the news this morning certainly seems like that may not be the case. Always felt Boris was jumping the gun a bit to say all restrictions gone before everyone has had chance of vaccine. Likewise travel abroad -...

Do you want to discuss boring politics?

Looking at the early results I don’t think any of it is much of a shock. Labour haven’t shook off the hangover of Brexit and Corbin plus there’s a vaccine bounce for the tories and in times of crisis people want to support the government. The bigger problem long term for Labour is people in the...

Announcement on Ricoh future today - The Coventry Building Society Arena

Cant see it ever being called the Coventry Building Society Arena. Sure the trains have Coventry Arena rather than the Ricoh now mind. On the plus side though Cov BS have our colours so chances of the seats changing are unlikely. I was waiting for the Wasps Nest so pleasantly surprised.

    BT Sport

I do wonder why the premier league don’t just create their own app/streaming service. But then without all the promotion from Sky would people sign up? Just seen that DAZN have signed Eddie Hearn’s boxing so if they did get BT’s sport portfolio may be a cheaper option to sky if the price is right.

    BT Sport

Just seen that BT are discussing selling their sports channel. Suspicion is they may sell to Amazon or DAZN. Could this be the start of a serious decline in TV rights or will the streaming giants force rights higher? Whilst I know the intention of multiple rights packages was to increase...

    Membership / Season Tickets

Whilst I’m hopeful vaccines will mean we get back to normal I’m not convinced they’ll be lifting social distancing measures on the 21st June. Whilst I think we’ll all be offered our first vaccine by end of July that still means we’re not fully vaccinated until end of October based on the 12...

    European breakaway league

New twist rumours of a premier league revamp with Celtic & Rangers but down to 18 teams. Even with super league dead there are going to be big changes coming. Can see smaller Prem, EFL cup gone but possibly more payments down the pyramid to compensate.Old Firm are wanted in British League as...

Long Term Future Of The Club

Championship side at the Ricoh but probably have dropped to L1 at some stage. Sisu gone as they have finally paid their internal (investor) debts off.

Just to get a general feel of things

He deserves the opportunity to keep us up with the job he’s done. Plus as bad as our recent form has been we’re still out the relegation places. That said I’d be lying if I said I wasn’t concerned. Formation against teams around us is far too negative and we’re far too reluctant to make...

Picked up two this morning including the little ones first ever. Was going to put it off until a later date but desperate for something to do on a Saturday. Ifollow has been great but working from home then sports on tv all weekend and I’m starting to climb the walls. Need a change of scene

Wasps losses and ricoh return catalyst

Thanks OSB I have some accounting understanding but the CCFC structure often bamboozles me.

Wasps losses and ricoh return catalyst

So in effect we’re looking at Sisu needing to clear the 14m owed to ARVO before they’d sell up otherwise they’d need to crystallise their losses?

Warwick Uni Master Plan CET 😡

Telegraph on the ball again. Although think the club were slow getting the minutes online as they were on here over a week ago.

    Final Position Predictor

Have us staying up despite not picking up too many wins. Apart from some of the obvious teams like Norwich the games are very hard to call. Cut silly mistakes out and I think we stay up even without scoring goals.

    Taxi cancelled for Robins

Don’t want him gone as the job he’s done I think he deserves the chance to keep us up. That said I’m getting more concerned as things go on, he’s been too negative all season but to play one up today against the bottom team was a poor decision. I’ve not heard any reason yet why Walker didn’t...
