We begged the council/ACL/Higgs never to sell to sisu?

    Ryton ?

I don't really get this. Is it wrong to have some sort of security for investments and/or loans? Maybe the club should have adopted Wasps approach and have the fans loan the club the money?

    League one transfers news/talk

Management fee doesn't exist since Otium took over. It was a financial tool to move cost between CCFC ltd and CCFC H. The popular myth that is still alive even today is that management fee was money paid to SISU. It never was and it has been proved countless times by OSB. Interest is charged on...

    Trust statement regarding the AHC

I am not trying to pick a fight here, but closing academies is the wrong way for English football. It will lead to fewer talents being spotted, groomed and developed to reach senior level. It will lead to even more foreigners playing in the leagues. It's the wrong direction - on national level.

Oh, but it does make sense. Some 15.000 potential new buyers of their high risk bonds.

    The truth is out there

... and we'll never know it. Back in 2011 it slowly dawned on most of us that the club couldn't continue losing millions every year. The Ranson, Hoffman, Elliott failure left the club drained of cash and low on owner confidence. The board lead by Ken Dulieu was another complete disaster.The...

    Leicester

Leicester have played a total of 39 matches this season. Manchester City and Manchester United have both played 52 matches. Tottenham and Arsenal have played 49 matches. That's a huge difference, lowering the risk of player fatigue and injuries. 9 players have played in 32 or more of their 34...

Can we make the Premier League?

I think it is possible, but unlikely. Popular thinking is it can't happen with the current owners, but I am more inclined to think it can't happen with the current manager. What we need is a sustained positive momentum like we had till TM started to make whole sale changes to the line up every...

    Ricoh naming rights

This could be down to negotiating a deal with us. Until they know if we will be there for more than two years they can't really calculate the value of the naming rights. Can they?

    Promotion push

People look at the table and think we can close the gap despite running fast out of games. But let's follow your assumption: We will lose a few - say 3. Draw a few - say 3. That's 3 points from 6 adding to our current tally gives us 54pts from 37 games. That leaves us with 9 games to get 36...

    Bury match thread

They had a very good run with 6 wins, 4 draws and only one defeat - then they hit the wall and only won 1, drew 2 and lost 3 (just like our last 6 games). Since then every win is countered by two defeats. The difference between them and us is they have been distracted by the FA cup ... which...
