The Curious Case of Jordy Hiwula

It's my opinion, I'm not saying it's fact, nor have I stated that in my post.

The Curious Case of Jordy Hiwula

I don't necessarily agree with Robins' hard shoulder approach as it doesn't work with all players. Managers need to know which players he can kick up the arse and which players need an arm round their shoulder. With Robins, I've noticed in his three full seasons here he'll often give an arm over...

    U23 v Ipswich

Haven't seen Bapaga feature for a while? Has he been injured or just playing for the U18's?

    Kastaneer, the new Kevin Malaga?

I'm not getting tetchy I'm simply asking what's the basis for your argument that he'd be certain to feature more for the first team when he's not even featuring for the U23's? This is what I'm taking issue with. As I genuinely think at the minute Robins would rather put Sky Blue Sam on the bench...

    Kastaneer, the new Kevin Malaga?

Perhaps that may be the reason none of the top clubs came in for him in the summer? Wouldn't be so much of a calculated risk if £40M is on the line. So I think the differential between what's considered naivety and what's believed to be a calculated risk is, and will be Wilson's price tag.

    Kastaneer, the new Kevin Malaga?

"If we were still playing with wingers I am certain we would have seen more of him" Did you make that clear in your post? Plus, how is that taking 2+2 and making 10? He wouldn't feature at all

    Promotion - The Down side

Luton have bombed this season because their recruitment in the summer was dreadful. Given the amount of money they received through selling the likes of James and Stacey, you'd think they would've reinvested better rather than bring in the likes of McManaman. That's only from the outside...

    Kastaneer, the new Kevin Malaga?

Certain? Baring in mind even after Jobello's injury, Robins still stuck to the same formation for a few games and preferred to put a midfielder on the wing instead of Kastaneer. What makes you so certain he'd start now when he's not even featuring for the U23's?

    Kastaneer, the new Kevin Malaga?

I wouldn't go as far to say Jobello was poor, but he wasn't exactly ripping up trees either - which I'd argue is a fair assessment given he'd only registered 1 goal and 1 assist in 11 games. Equally, from seeing him play he didn't have the quality that Badlan had originally implied. My...

    Kastaneer, the new Kevin Malaga?

You do realise that there's a stark difference between finding something to criticise for the sake of it and criticising something that warrants criticism, don't you? In my book it's far better to have an educated opinion on something rather than be a conformist. So to be honest I'd take being a...

    Kastaneer, the new Kevin Malaga?

Jobello was hardly ripping up trees either was he? Equally on that topic why was Badlan gushing over a player that had previously suffered 2 or 3 ACL's? Don't you think that brings into question his ability to scout players abroad? So please tell me why shouldn't I critique that and why it is odd?

    Callum Wilson

I'm not saying, nor have I said he would be overlooked if he went to United and scored 10+ goals in half a season because he probably would be in contention, yes. But it's non-sensical to use that argument because it's hypothetical. Like for instance, if I wanted to counter that point I could...

    Kastaneer, the new Kevin Malaga?

Its not exactly picking at the finer points. Badlan has scouted Kastaneer since his U17 days and has only just found out that he lacks the fitness capabilities to play football even at U23 level. If anything I think that’s a great topic for discussion, as that in itself is bizarre.

I think their financial brain ruled over their footballing brain (or lack there of) with the Thorn appointment. Don't forget a large proportion of the fanbase were calling for Thorn to be appointed. At the end of the day SISU just happily obliged because not only did it cut costs by appointing...

    Jordan Ponticelli

No definitely not. Very bizarre decision by both parties I guess. From our end though, I think most thought it was odd that we considered him ready to play regularly at League One level. Pretty big ask given the stage he was at in his development - especially as he had never played in League...

Finally, a level where he's suited. Whoever made the decision to loan him to Tranmere needs their head checking.

I think it would be little higher than average actually. My guess would be around 7th/8th in the context of the league. Again, just a guess but I suspect it's only the likes of Sunderland, Ipswich, Rotherham, Portsmouth, Oxford, Peterborough and maybe Blackpool that have a larger playing budget...
