Actually, I think Tavares' footballing brain and composure coupled with BTA's physique and energy would probably make for a quality Championship striker.
Hindsight is a wonderful thing.
Most of us were extremely happy that he stayed last year, he'd had an excellent season, and looked a class above the division.
Now he looks broken.
It's not just the forwards, though; it's the lack of conviction around the box. The lack of people attacking space. Twice we had brilliant balls put in across the box, but there was nobody running into the right area.
Not great. Again too often it's just that final bit that needs to be better. Should have had a penalty.
Torp's looked good. Mason-Clark hasn't.
Hughes has looked very good; we should definitely try to sign him.
