    Transfer Rumour Josh Windass

I see his dad is suing the FA for dementia problems caused by continually heading the ball. What is unusual is that he played his football using the modern balls, not the heavy leather lace up ones that did for a lot of the old timers. Appears the FA are in the dock for possibly deliberately...

    Summer transfer window 2024

Never been published anywhere, Godden has never aired this in public so lets see what happens.

    Summer transfer window 2024

Just read an article in the Times about how many defenders does a team need and still win a football match. Apparently the architects of the great Ajax teams decided three and Pep agrees with them. Perhaps that is why we appear to be chasing midfielders, although Stamenic has played as a...

    Summer transfer window 2024

Hmmm. Quite a few people want Godden, Allen, Tavares and Wilson to move on. Wave a magic wand and we will get better players in. A lot of supporters think Godden has gone over the hill and his time with us is over. He was certainly a shadow of his former self in the second half of the season and...

Transfer Rumour Raphael Borges Rodriguez signs for Coventry

Anther one out of left-field no one saw coming. An exciting buy I feel. As many have already said, we have a ready made song. Not sure the level of OZ footie but pace is always helpful.

    LIAM WALSH

Sad his career has been blighted by injuries, as he was going to be some player. Played really well against us for Swansea last season but we can't afford players who can stay consistently fit (well apart from Sheaf).

    Norwich

Think Stoke will be able to offer more money than us with their rich backers. I get the feeling Stoke finally have a manager who will push them up the table. That said, for McCallum, I think Adi would put his career back on track, He went for a big fee (at the time) for a reason. His potential.

    Bums on seats

Regis had gone from football genius to night clubbing bad boy which was why Albion got rid of him. All the indicators were he was on his way down and out. Was very average for us at first and got injured (broken arm) when nobbing a local DJs wife. Latterly, he found God and reformed. His...

    Summer transfer window 2024

Bullshit rumour alert. Like many people on here who claim otherwise, I know nothing. We will sign a free transfer or two, one ex Chelsea player, some players from abroad no one has ever heard of and a couple of L1 players, possibly from Peterborough. You heard it here first, possibly.

Upon reading this thread, our team are looking at Jimmy Krankie who is apparently dynamite in the showers.

    Championship thread 23/24

Norwich and Albion stay next season. Two bogey sides recently. We need points off them in the coming season. Norwich already sacked their manager and both have no more parachute payments, I believe. Should level the playing field.

    Championship thread 23/24

McCallum was looking great for us, improving all the time with a blistering shot. Think his career has stalled at Norwich due to bad management. Think Adi would put him back on course.

    Summer transfer window 2024

Some speculation of who is leaving based on absolutely nothing other than the obvious ones we know about, namely, Kelly, O'Hare, Moore and possibly Godden. Will be interesting how much of who is coming in is bullshit, fairy tales and fantasy (as usual). Lets see what happens.

    Player stats 23/24

Our central midfielders need to score more next season now Callum is almost certainly leaving. The ability is there, so it is probably all in the head. Denis Mortimer couldn't hit a barn door at the City. Scored way more at (Shit on the) Villa.

    Hull sack Rosenior

Stupid decision. Continuity usually wins out with the right manager. Could go either way. If they get in a top manager could work in their favour. A big name or a joker and that takes them out of the equation next year. See Watford, QPR, Birmingham etc.

Is it 10% of the fee or 10% of any money above what we sold him for, like Vik apparently?

    What did Ipswich get right?

Teams get promoted because they are better than the opposition in most games. However, you cannot rule out luck regarding deflections, when you play opposition teams during the season, injuries and refereeing decisions. I don't subscribe to the idea that luck and decisions balance out over the...

    New number one needed

Thought Collins was fine for most of the season then lost his concentration in the last few matches resulting in school boy errors.. Really don't think we can afford to sign a new goalkeeper as other areas of the team will be more pressing. Collins at 27? still young for a goalie. (thought he...
