We have done well recently against Stoke away. They have pots of money and finally a manager who looks as if he knows what he is doing. The thing is with young defenders, providing the potential is there, the more they play together the better the defence should become. Of course this is all theory, but a consistent defence (if good enough) really helps. See Grahams Arsenal.

With existing players (Hadji, Palmer, Lati, JDS and Rodrigues plus the players we have been linked with, there could be quite a few away on international duty during the season. Some of them going on long haul flights. Not ideal.
