First point, he actually said short travel time. Fastest train from Coventry to MK is 27 minutes. Fastest train from Coventry to N’ton is 32 minutes. Second point, it’s a mere 16 miles further by road and 20 minutes more travel time to a venue that most fans want to go to as opposed to a venue...

You've totally lost me. How does snubbing home games but going to away games in large numbers encourage SISU to continue with their misguided strategy? They've dropped a clanger and made a huge error of judgement, testified by paltry home attendances resulting in them losing money hand over...

I couldn’t disagree more with that. Going to MK is consistent with the very clear message that’s been sent to our owners this season in that most of us will not accept being moved from our city, most of us will not be attending home games at Sixfields, but large - sometimes unprecedented -...

But that's your belief of the message that's being sent out by a large away following for this fixture. It's not my belief and I'd imagine it's not the viewpoint of many other fans either.

Possibly he is, but where's the correlation between that statement and the original 2 questions you posed?

No, because we are nowhere near that stage yet if indeed it were to ever happen. On a personal note, I couldn't give 2 hoots about NOPM or standing on a hill. I'd never, on principle, go inside sixfields for a home fixture ever. Not for all the tea in China.

No on both counts. It's sticking 2 fingers up to the club owners and saying we're prepared to travel in droves to support our team for away fixtures but stay away in droves for home fixtures away from our city.

    Was it or wasn't it?

Given SISU’s proclivity to litigate at every opportunity, do you think it would be sensible to propagate lies on a public forum?

Utterly banal statement. It might seem a monumental effort for you work out Mark but 3 seconds worth of mental arithmetic hardly equates to spending more than 2 years of fixated forum posting does it? Christ!

If I knew you personally Grendel I’d be concerned about you. You ask a perfectly valid question to start this topic off with and when you get a thoughtful, rational response you reply with the most ludicrous nonsense. Why is that? Is it because you have nothing of any substance to respond with...

Putting the Sixfields fiasco into perspective

Now the dust has settled on this thread I just want to clear a few things up by way of reply as some people have either not read this post properly or misinterpreted it. I also want to respond to other comments made: “Sad story undermined by pompous slander towards people with different ideas...

Putting the Sixfields fiasco into perspective

It’s not often that I chip in with my tuppence worth on this forum and quite frankly, the subject I’m going to discuss has been regurgitated so many times it’s getting a little tiresome. Nevertheless, I thought I’d share something very poignant on one of the consequences of the ludicrous and...

    Walkabout - Wolverhamton last saturday

It's nice to hear positive feedback and a nice gesture to lay on a buffet next time. Can you tell them to ensure draught beer is available next time though? The time bar staff spent opening bottles and then pouring the contents into plastic glasses was exasperating. It took me 30 mins plus to...

Now now William, I know we've had our spats in the past but Supermac? Come on! You're barking up the wrong tree son.

    Realism at last !

It all went pear shaped after Richard Shaw hung up his boots, you know that Rigsby. A consistent performer winning accolades for both “Player of the Year” and “Players’ Player of the Year”, quality like that is irreplaceable without spending large and we haven't got 2 ha'pennies to rub together...
