I really don't know what is going on with Sheaf. With the exception of Plymouth he has been pedestrian and anonymous all season.

Dovin prevented that being 2-0. Great decision to come out.

Awful pass from Eccles. Shocking defending in the box. Then also kept onside by Eccles as well.

Still no Wilson back in the squad which is interesting. Been back training for 3 weeks, so would have expected him back on the bench given FL's comments

    Robins to Stoke ?

There is a difference between not saying something though and owning it. He could have said something evasive. He outright said 'they are my appointments'. If you would do that at your job fair enough, but I don't think everyone would back every decision in public 100% especially not a manager...

    Robins to Stoke ?

Why did Robins say he appointed them though and it was his choice. Appreciate the info

    Robins to Stoke ?

Isn't this the exact opposite of what King said in in the forum? He said Robins decided on Delaney and Dempster specifically after not getting a number 2 right?

    Robins to Stoke ?

Who were all his appointments... Why would Doug sanction the coaches Lampard brought in with him but not these ones if they were who Robins wanted all along. It does suggest it's Robins choices not the other way round

    Robins to Stoke ?

    Agreed.

    Robins to Stoke ?

Hardly the high calibre coaches everyone was dreaming of though are they... They look like solid coaches, but nothing on the experience Adi brought...

2-0 win. Then a loss at Norwich is my feeling.

    Season over?

Saddle I appreciate your insights I genuinely do. But you aren't half a drama queen. Everything is always so dramatic. We have fallen short this season, that's why MR has left. We are naturally going to go through a transition period, it's got better even if it isn't the free flowing football...

Take the positives. Second clean sheet on the bounce. They were shit scared of us and sat back all game which is a good sign. Missing our two best attackers so far this year. Rudoni should have scored but game of few chances

Match Thread Coventry City - Millwall FC Match Thread - Sunday 29th Dec

We can't keep saying every team in the league is poor and we should be winning. It's the championship a league of very fine margins. It was very much a slow and steady first half, some tactical tweaks and hopefully we will be able to carve them open. Missing a proper outlet on the LW no doubt...

Bassette will develop most from playing games and getting as many minutes as possible. You can't just do it on the training ground. He needs to improve and he definitely will, Simms reputation is improving from not playing. If he wants to start when he does come on he needs to do more. We have...

Match Thread Coventry City - Plymouth Argyle Match Thread - Thursday 26th Dec

It's not the lowest, it's lower end of course but their owner said they had extra money this year. https://www.bbc.com/sport/football/articles/c7227x57dzjo It's not like yesterday was a one off either. They have been awful away all season and concede goals for fun. Even more than us. Rooney...

Match Thread Coventry City - Plymouth Argyle Match Thread - Thursday 26th Dec

Thought the team looked at ease throughout. Defence clearly fired up although ended up not being tested. Midfield excellent, sheafs best performance against easy opposition. Eccles first finish was excellent and EMC is going to be a beast. Awful opposition of course, so can't get too far...

Match Thread Coventry City - Plymouth Argyle Match Thread - Thursday 26th Dec

Plymouth awful, but our tactics spot on pressing the right players at the right time. Eccles brilliant even without the goals. Players clearly fired up which is good to see. Not understanding the groans at times, we are so comfortable doesn't need to be 100mph football
