    Relegated before the final

We've 6 huge games with sides in the bottom half, now we've a possible striker crisis.... a huge ask when we've struggled for goals this season. Let's hope Yakubu is close to fitness and the deal is close.

    Striker situation

Seems we're shit out of luck this year in the league.... I'm hoping for a bit of a bounce to get something from Oldham but it's taken a knock hearing Beavon is a doubt still having not trained this week. Vernam, more bad luck with his injury tho sounds like it's a few weeks not season done...

    Yakubu

Everything to gain and nothing to lose. We need options and cannot keep going with no striking option on the bench. Look at the effect akinfenwa had for Wycombe, he had players all around him and used his strength and body well to link up others. Didn't really put himself about but had the...

Not a good guide for next season

No excuses from me... and certainly not biased. I'll most likely try and find the best in the new manager if RS leaves, I just hope he's a experienced man to do the rebuilding this squad needs. I backed TM and was one of the few that tried to see any positives in Andre Wright when he came on...

Not a good guide for next season

TM set his summer targets... one by one they slipped away. He drew up his target list with no suitable plan to fall on in the event we could not compete with any rival. We ended up looking to kelvin wilson with a history of injuries similar to Reda Johnson. RS identified a player and got him in...

    Mowbray, you beauty!!!

A well reasoned post. TM is the man who is unfortunately held responsible for shaping the squad for the season till January the 1st. He set the targets, identified the players with no plan b tho his targets seemed a little to ambitious to what our budget could match.

Not a good guide for next season

Moving the goal posts?? Either slades in charge or not?? Please stop ranting and make sense. I've no dislike to you and TM... And yes I did think RS would save us.. To guess at the point your trying to make Agyei was likely a Loan TM was happy to take but Wright was another Folivi deadline day...

Not a good guide for next season

Who's saying it was a success? I ain't. Was it a bigger success than the summer? Quite possibly just narrowly as we signed Nathan clarke, a player TM would of unlikely looked at but fits the bill in being a leader and putting his head and body into everything. Foley yet to prove much. Beavon has...

Not a good guide for next season

??? Clarke, Rawson, Foley, Reilly, Beavon, vernam, and a late possibly desperation signing of Folivi I'd say that was trying to salvage something doing everything he can.

    Mowbray, you beauty!!!

I'd smile and laugh this one off, but It's your call..... one of the best nights in our modern history, we should be happy for a day. It seems Otis has quite a sense of humour reading most his posts. PUSB.

    Mowbray, you beauty!!!

I think you chomped on the big worm that was hanging on the hook.... could of just laughed it off after the night we had last night. Moods should still be high and all be United! I've no hate for TM, and I doubt Otis has. He brought some wonderful days and memories early in the 15/16 season...

Not a good guide for next season

I don't think we learned anything new and that we need our own strong dominant players to go toe to toe week in week out. This summer is key... recruitment has to be done very wisely by a man who's works this level and on a shoe string

    Mowbray, you beauty!!!

Thought Reilly stepped up too last night. As for Beavon, if you don't shoot you don't score.... if it takes a deflection going in then it we will take that bit of luck but nice work from DKE initially and Reilly to cut it back for Beavon to quickly turn and create space.

    Dion kelly evans

One of the few you can say gives his all for the shirt in every game. Said a few times what he lacks in height he gives in passion and desire. Mental strength too which is rare in this side. MOTM for me last night. One of the few I'd retain for next year.

    Yakubu

That was quick... you got me before my edit would allow me. [emoji6] I'll give RS one thing over TM. His continued search for the answer in playing staff. Had possibly more players in on trial than TM did in his entire time here. Says all about how TM lost the desire for the job but RS still...

    Russell Slade

Yes, this is why it's very important to have a manager in place to decide should we salvage anyone from this season tho I don't think many if any have the mental strength and concentration. We need to identify targets and get them in. Business at this level is done in the early summer.
