Best and worst Sky Blue moments

I've got pictures in my head for all of those, which are indeed magic/tragic moments. Apart from the WBA/West Ham one, which is a mystery to me!

We Have The Best Players (Rose)

Personally think he's unlucky to have been let go, as there were times earlier last season when I thought he looked a useful squad player in this league, and we are now in the market for several CBs.

Would also eliminate the long walk from the halfway line, which appears to be deliberately designed as a torture.

    I see what you've done there - they're all anagrams aren't they?

Best and worst Sky Blue moments

So my memory is playing tricks on me laughing 🤣 I can still see one of Killer's penalties in my head, straight down the middle at 100 miles an hour not far under the bar, with the keeper powerless to do anything. Must have been a different game! That 3 match sequence was a ridiculous escape.

Best and worst Sky Blue moments

Was that the very late pen in one of the 3 games we needed to stay up? Got a picture in my mind of him belting it as if was a shot from 35 yards. Keeper would have been well advised just to get out of the way of it 🤣 One of so many great escape moments.

    The CBS

I'd have thought there would be less line of sight issues in the corners, especially if the safe standing was at the back?

Match Thread Confirmed Ins and Outs 2023/2024 Summer

Numerous times this season Bidwell's ability to get a defensive head onto deep crosses was pretty important. But obviously all these things are taken into account when recruiting.

    Strikers that could replace vik

All credit to you G for rightly advocating signing Gyok, when lots of people were saying he was rubbish. But you definitely weren't the first or only one to say we should keep him on after the loan spell. Even in his raw state, he was clearly the type of player we'd been missing for years.

    Item It may help?

A huge boost for me is the realisation that we've recovered the fan base. Six years ago, we were watching the club dying before our eyes, and I feared we had permanently lost an entire generation of fans. But you can see the youngsters on board now, proud to be Sky Blues. Robins' outstanding...

    Item It may help?

Glad my other thread helped you BF, you did seem to have lost all sense of perspective, and Fanky really didn't deserve some of your comments. Also good I reckon to think back to some of the horrendous bad moments of the past, and realise that they do lose their sting with time. I agree about...

Best and worst Sky Blue moments

Yes, missing a pen hardly counts as a shock. But if we'd given it away with that cock-up it would have been unbearable.

Best and worst Sky Blue moments

I was thinking of specific instants of a few seconds, rather than whole matches or results. As an example, not the 4-3 win against Spurs, but the second when Cyrille's rebound header went in.

Best and worst Sky Blue moments

I’m not talking about whole occasions or results here – just moments of a few seconds that stand out in the best and worst possible ways. You CANNOT have the penalty miss on Saturday - that needs to be erased from our collective memory banks. I’m restricting myself to three of each. Maybe (like...

How to spend 30 million pounds.

Don't worry, it'll be like a stamp with a scarce printing anomaly. You can put it up at Sotheby's where the catalogue will say 'Lot 238 - unique opportunity to own a rare 2023 "apostrophe error" Coventry City football scarf, one of only three known examples, the others being held in the vaults...

Jamie Allen is Guilty of War Crimes

I'll go out on a limb and say that in a first half where Hamer was giving ball away for fun, Sheaf was hesitant, Vik was completely shackled and the back three were all over the place, Allen was one of our 'least worst' players. The change was tactical, and made a difference. Sadly I think the...
