Maddison, Wilson - I realise they were young when they left, but in terms of talent both genuinely top flight / international level. So far (and especially the last few months) Gus has proved himself a cracking Championship midfielder and I really hope he stays.

It wasn't lunatic in an entertaining way though was it? It was just a lot of piss poor challenges. His value to the team increased beyond recognition once he started practising zen. And for me his character shines more now.

Just remembered the Golden Goal (?) tickets you could buy. Tear the perforated ticket open to reveal a time (e.g. 38 mins 14 seconds), and the closest ticket to the time of the first goal was the winner. I bet it was about ten quid, which would keep you in beer for a month in those days.
