That would be fine, but doesn't solve the problem of what to do if Haji or Tats aren't available for any reason (including international duty). A forward who can play wide both sides would be a better 'utility' signing atm.

That's fair enough. But quite a few on here seem to have gone pretty quickly from "we desperately need a Hamer replacement" to "we really don't need a Hamer replacement". This particular player (admittedly based only on a few mins of video) seems more like good competition for Sheaf and Eccles...

I trust the recruitment team, and if it turns out we are after this guy he will be good. But if I was solely going by those two highlights reels I'd be pretty underwhelmed, particularly in terms of replacing Hamer's goal threat.
