    Bright Enobakahre

Wife & I were on holiday in the lake district recently and sat next to a Sunderland supporter in the resturant. He knew I supported cov, heard us talking about a recent win. He was old enough to remember the Bristol game as a supporter. He actually bought us a drink, and said apart from a few...

    The "Half" way point

Amazingly games 11 to 20 only yielded 11 points yet we only dropped out of the top 6 for games 12 & 13, and then game 20

So Who Has Had The Toughest Start? December 2019

You could argue that all of our games have been away. Where it falls down, for example, is Wycombe are bottom of the home table suggesting they may be in a false position due to their "easy" home fixtures, but they are still scoring 1 as the toughest opponents to play.

Ironic really. Many of their supporters (??) on their forum have taken the mickey out of us about our ground situation. Karma!

Match Thread Tranmere Rovers vs. Coventry City Match Thread - Wednesday 1st Jan

When you think, we have only lost 2 out of 11 away, the games we have drawn from winning positions, and the fact we were winless until now will have played on their minds. Also we were making a good few mistakes in front of goal earlier on,playing out from the back, which mainly seems to have...

League 1 Form - Interesting Reading

Top 6 in the form table (last 6 results) Accrington Oxford Coventry Bristol R Gillingham Wimbledon It just shows how open this league is, and it demonstrates how some of the "less fancied" teams can influence the league. The likes of Portsmouth, Peterborough, and Ipswich have to play Accrington...

    Games in hand

You're right, providing all or most of the current injuries clear up as expected, but we have already seen injuries taking much longer than expected to clear up. Godden should be back by Jan but if he isn't we will need to do something I think, in the loan market at the least. And MR has hinted...

    Games in hand

January transfer activity is key to our season. We play Sunderland, Ipswich, Shrewsbury, Lincoln, Wycombe, and if you count Jan 1st. Tranmere I think 10 points from that lot is achievable. This should keep us well in contention.

    Games in hand

I don't wish to jinx the next few games but; 1. we have an excellent recent record against Wycombe & Sunderland 2. we tend to play better against sides near the top. 3. we have either played well against, or beaten everyone else in the top 10 except Rotherham
