At the present time McCallum is very strong defensively and decent going forwards (when given licence to do so). Giles is poor defensively and decent going forwards. McCallum currently the better LWB of the two.

Before today he had made the most tackles of any midfielder in the league. Perhaps we (fans) need to start looking at him as playing a different role than the typical AM.
