Not sure BTA is 'needless' though. I see him as a useful squad player who can fill in anywhere across the front line and be relied upon to put in a shift. He's not a nailed on first choice, but in the current injury situation it's good that he's available IMO.

Fair enough. I think sacking Robins was a costly mistake driven by unnecessary panic and pessemism. I think the same thing about Lampard now. We aren't as bad a side as people keep claiming, and far more time needs to be allowed in these situations.
