I agree plenty were a fault, but you have to look at those selecting them and justifying them ready to play men's football in the 3rd tier at the time. They wasn't ready and made mistakes. Some more costly than others. Some of those have grown because of it some maybe not. Time will tell

I half agree, but you've hit the nail on the head. How many players has this club exposed when not ready and let them become fodder for the fans to abuse during our slide so no matter what they do it will never be right or good enough. Haynes is the perfect example of recent. Fans are fickle...

    Beavon

For me this was a flaw in JJ's game too which he'd have to iron out to play higher up the leagues. Nazon unfortunately was guilty of wasting his side 2 excellent chances to go ahead very early on which likely puts the game beyond Crawley. Yes we need a few of his snap shots but he played...

But how many times do we hear people say play the kids at least they care... they will give 100%... Yesterday 8 former academy players were included in the match day 18 we started with 4 academy products and finished with 6 on the pitch. It wasn't all there fault we didn't get the win, it...

    Beavon

Can he do much more for his team mates tho if the ducks flying solo? Beavon and McNulty were passengers at times due to his selfish/foolish decisions at times. A few goals would be nice from him but I think I prefer Biamou this season and I like Beavon and what he brings.

Apologies for anyone who felt my post need them to explain there reasons for staying away. It wasn't meant that way if way just my own opinion of statistics I know of people who use the ill not go line..... Fair play to tho who say they simply have no desire to go and watch, that's a honest and...

I think a good portion hide behind the i'll not go while sisu are still there when really L2 football isn't for them. I'd rather them be honest and say it's poor football in div 4 than bullshit reasons.

I don't see who you can shift on tho, this is his and TW squad that they hand picked. It's only Kyle Reid who's due back in January and Jordan Turnbull who's on a season long loan who they really inherited that's possibly surplus with Kwame Thomas who can only leave for Sutton or Solihull. Ben...

I've thought this for the last few weeks, let me first clearly say I do NOT want him gone or sacked. He's the right man for me to build us back up, as he has done and doing still. It's just gonna take time. However is he digging his own hole with some supporters Frequently he quotes us as the...

    Player ratings - Crawley

Burge 5 Willis 5 Mcdonald 5 Davies 4 Grimmer 6 Haynes 5 Doyle 5 Shipley 6 Nazon 4 McNulty 6 Beavon 5 Stevenson 6 Ponticelli 4 Kelly-Evans 2 I didn't understand the substitutions today, Stevenson switch made sense and worked however Kelly-Evans offered nothing I'd of rather McNulty drop a...

Another frustrating afternoon at the Ricoh... I said earlier in the week I'd doubt MR would change the system given the time to train and understand whose role is what, it showed. I like the idea of it too, I just think it needs time to adapt to it not 3 days and abandon it. The first 10/15...

Should be 2-0 up and coasting. Nazon guilty for me today, McNulty in the clear twice with just the keeper to beat. Invite our our troubles we do. Playing too predictable always down the right, Doyle needs to get in the game and release Haynes who's found space occasionally.

Wing backs seems sensible thing to go towards, may actually make us more attacking. Pleased Tom Davies retains his spot.

I think a lot depends on what Crawley side turns up, they've had some good results and clean sheets too. Tuesday night they beat Exeter 3-1 yet lost 4-0 away to Wycombe last Saturday. Prior to that they drew 1-1 with Forest Green, 0-0 at Lincoln, 0-0 at home to Luton, lost 2-0 to Chesterfield...

    Beavon

Not as if it was a 1 year deal too, was a 2 year deal. To me Beavon is effective if the 3 behind are scoring. That's been our issue, as we all know goals haven't been coming. During burtons success Beavon had Akins, McGurk and Mcdonald who scored for Mansfield at the Ricoh scoring regularly...

    Beavon

He's a provider and worker tho. That's what he built his career doing and at a higher level. Never had a prolific career scoring goals. He's only pointless if the 3 behind ain't taking the chances with him too chipping in Mark Robins was happy to give him a 2 year deal in the summer after...

    Jones Injury

I agree it's both and he's back at the level where he caught a lot of scouts eye. It's very fair to say last year in league one he offered very little to impact play, decision making poor, positional play not right and very lightweight..... a season and jump in level too early in his career it's...
