Wasps going into admin & the impact on CCFC

Apparently they owe 180K to the company that put up all the new signage.

Wasps going into admin & the impact on CCFC

Again, so what? He probably had some info but jumped the gun a bit and it didn't pan out. His parents live across the road from me and he visits now and again. Did a really nice thing for my daughter once. Nice fella. Clearly a big supporter of the club and the city. Not going to get carried...

Wasps going into admin & the impact on CCFC

All this hand-wringing makes me laugh. Everyone wants SISU out, but the moment there's talk of a potential buyer, people immediately find a reason for why we shouldn't go near them. These are the same people who are adamant that the only model that works in this division is for a filthy rich...

Wasps going into admin & the impact on CCFC

I'm talking exhibitions more than concerts, there is pretty much one every week, always lots going on there - What’s on in Coventry near Birmingham How do we know these events lose money anyway?

Wasps going into admin & the impact on CCFC

The exhibition hall is in use constantly. Barely a week passes without an event there.

Burnley fans up there with some of the worst I've seen. Abject.

Aye. Always gutted when we lose, but well beaten by a team that barely got out of 2nd gear, so no point having a meltdown. Been a while since we've not had a shot on target in 90 mins at home I'd imagine.

I get that it's not an exact science, and you have to try to balance between maximising revenues and setting pricing at a level that doesn't see gates fall and turn off casual fans - that's not a good long-term strategy. I like the model at WBA - a flat £25 for all games. I guess the issue...

It isn't so much the category as the price for that category. Albion was Cat A, and 24 hours before the game they had only sold 2700, many saying they were boycotting because of the price. The rearranged game will still be £34 (£1 compulsory booking fee) and being midweek I doubt WBA will...

    Bristol ratings/rantings

Not getting the time and time again thing. Two occasions in the 1st half Godden was the better option, but the 2nd occasion you could see Vik was looking for the pass but it just wasn't on and Godden had strayed offside. 2nd half, Vik plays it in to Godden for his best opportunity of the game...

    Empty seats in 14 & 15

19,788 with 2457 away according to club, so 17. 3K. Lots of empty seats in the corner again. Row in front barely had anyone in it.

Match Thread ⚽️ Coventry City vs Middlesbrough Match Thread - Saturday 1st Oct

Nobody planning on having a decent drink before the game would plan to do that in the ground though surely? Who would chose to stand in a cold concourse surrounded by exposed concrete and full kit wankers drinking disco piss? Who does that when you can go to the pub? For those who fancy one...

Early kick offs - the future?

I think that's right based on the price p/kWh, but is a recent change and once the price cap comes into play, that average unit price falls for most. It's all relative though and there are a lot of other factors to consider when comparing nation to nation. We have relatively high average...

Fair enough if you feel that way, but the Bristol example is not a valid comparison imo. If we were talking CCFC and CRFC then it might have a chance - that would be a partnership the city could buy into - but CCFC and Wasps? Way too much baggage for that to ever work.

Early kick offs - the future?

That's just anecdotal. I lived in the EU and have friends that are scrambling to get home because they cannot afford to live and the Government does nothing for them. That's also anecdotal, the point being that people are suffering everywhere.

Early kick offs - the future?

The topic being discussed is the price of energy, so his comment was specifically in relation to that. Unless you pay for the supply of domestic gas and electricity in Germany then of course you wouldn't notice anything, I'm not getting your point? If you genuinely think the same cost of...

While it's all being bankrolled by a wealthy individual perhaps, but as a long term arrangement, it will unravel.
