Not quite what was said. If you were trying to find a player (out of our squad) to offer a physical presence in the box, who would you use?

Personally think any hope of ‘a few’ additions is pie in the sky. One loan, if we’re lucky, and even that makes us heavy on loans. Hope I’m wrong.

Very kind of you, but I fall into that sphere where a bit of knowledge and all that. Don’t want to mislead, any knowledge I have is based on unfortunate personal experiences (although never had PF) and maybe having nurses / doctors in the family! I do have plenty of personal experience of...

    Match Thread Derby Match Thread

Hold on, not suggesting we copy Wycombe (or try and buy Akinfenwa!), was just a comment on what Derby struggled to cope with in their last game and was a reason why it wouldn’t surprise me to see Baka in the starting lineup. I think we’ll approach it similar to how we did against Norwich and...

I agree. Main point was Akinfenwa gave them a hard time and they struggled with the physical side of his game. Not sure we have an equivalent, but Baka has to be the closest we’ve got to it. Maybe!

    Ifollow

Posted this in the match thread a couple of times on Saturday, but thought I’d repost it here. An FSA survey on fans’ experience of iFollow with an opportunity to moan about anything that bugs you (like the replays!). Whatever you think of the FSA, at least it is an opportunity to give some much...

See they’ve given Rooney full control of team selection now. Against Wycombe he dropped the kids and brought more experience in and they changed style a bit to go more direct — an attempt to ‘stop the rot’ (sound familiar?), which they did by not losing and also by scoring. So they’ve stopped a...

    Ebay scammer - CCFC shirts

You sure copyright law isn’t UK wide? Should report it to the club just in case, they could send a cease and desist or copyright infringement letter.

Wasn’t it his hip last season that was a niggly one he played with for a bit?

Normal stairs. Still got the kids to school (on crutches). I don’t have the best of luck with the bony bits of my body it is fair to say.

I snapped 3 metatarsals walking up the stairs one morning(!) which healed with a “significant callus”. Feels like a marble taped to the bottom of my foot if I walk barefoot. I know the feeling!

    Huddersfield live on sky

I got all 3 but not the Norwich game, so don’t know if they’ve ‘fixed’ the issue now maybe.

You can get padded insoles (mainly the heel) to help relieve the pain, as others have said, can be bloody painful.

There’s a poster who is, I think, a physio which gave a fairly good summary somewhere (might even be this thread if I could be bothered to look!) but my layman’s understanding of it is that it is inflammation (...itis) of the fascia which is a membrane surrounding muscles. When you take the skin...

Plantar fasciitis. Google it. Painful and difficult to remedy.

    The ricoh jinx

That reads like you put a light up in the ricoh with dcfc written on it, which would be a bit weird for a Coventry fan.

    Joke Commentary Yesterday

Are we actually bothered by what radio Norwich have to say? Who fucking cares? Steve Coogan picked Norwich for a reason. ;)

    The revolution starts here

Fair play. Been an interesting journey since you started this thread. Bet you never in a million years thought we'd be where we are. I didn’t anyway.
