Thought it was excellent second half. Roared them on, got goose bumps a couple of times.

We played well today. Better team by a mile. They didn't lay a glove on us 2nd half. Just the final ball let us down. Some weird takes on here.

It's a measure of how far we have come as a club that we are about to get 27K+ for a league game in October and nobody is counting dots.

Surprised the club haven't warned fans about limited tickets. Apart from the retention of around 400 at the back of blocks 26 and 27 for POTG, there is nowt left. Can just imagine the meltdown if people turn up and can't get in 😂

It won't. What new fans anyway? There will fewer people today than we had for Blues and Boro last season and both were rocking. The uplift over games like QPR last season which was immense is only a couple of thousand in reality. It's the same people in the ground, around me.in block 16 everyone...

A few of the back rows of 25/26 to open.i think, but other than that it is 4 and 5 only? Should all be about sold by kick off tomorrow.

Ticket request for Saturday (Norwich at home)

Saturday looking like the biggest gate of the season. Might get close to a technical sell out.

They have played PNE, Blackburn, QPR and us so far, four of the biggest allocations in the league. That figure will come down. It's almost impossible to average more than 3K is this league.

Would be surprised. So many empty seats around me. Of course, for night games last season where the crowd was 18K there would only have been 15K there, so it's all relative. If you look at the seat map before the game, hardly a seat to be had apart from the NE corner, but a lot of empty see...

Think we're over thinking this. Watford game I though atmosphere was excellent. Last night it was flat. It happens. There were a couple of games at the beginning of last season that were similar.

22K, probably about 18K in the ground.

Not really. It started ok. It was a Monday night, felt flat before the game, loads of season ticket holders missing around me in block 16 which didn't help, plus no away fans to bounce off. Just one of them, but mainly driven by what was happening on the pitch.

Running the risk of sounding alarmist, but we're in a spot of bother here. The spine of the team.consists of Fadz, Eccles, Kelly, Allen and Godden. Fond of all of them, but that's basically our League One side from a few years ago. The squad we have at our disposal doesn't get any better for...

Looking like it'll be a pretty sparse crowd. Surprised how many season ticket holders I know who are sitting this one out. Imagine the official crowd with be ok, over 20K, but doubt there will be more than 16K in there. Should be in the pub now looking forward to this one. Fucking sky.

    Milan van Ewijk Appreciation Thread

You said 'I don't see him and Simms as big money signings'. I'm simply saying that I think they are very big money signings for this league. That's an undeniable fact, how are you even arguing that point with a straight face is baffling. The money we have spent on those 2 players alone is...

    Milan van Ewijk Appreciation Thread

Said nobody. It's about getting value. MVE looks like good value but it's always easier after the event and you can't expect every signing to succeed, so nobody is being a smart arse. I was as excited by the Wright signing as anyone. But to suggest £4m for a wing back is not a lot of money at...

    Milan van Ewijk Appreciation Thread

How can they not be big money signings? £4 million at this level is a huge amount of money. We've spent a fortune, it is pretty unprecented for a team that doesn't have parachute payments to spend what we have. Most independent pundits seem to be saying Blues had the best window, you can...

    Godden

There really aren't that many people that think that though. There will.always be weird takes, and they are more likely to appear on a feed as they generate the most reaction. It really is a tiny number of people posting on twitter regularly anyway.

Take that and move on. Really didn't fancy us today so pleased with the point. I haven't got particularly high expectations this season, it would be a minor miracle if this team finished top 6, so no hand-wringing if we drop points at home. Plenty to work on but some positives too.

I'm not confident at all either, so much so I'd take a draw now and I never say that at home. Btw, I'm pretty confident for the season overall but feel we get turned over today.
