I think there’s still a couple of pronunciations of Hamer, “Haymer” and “Harmer”. Heard them both used repeatedly. Someone on here mentioned that in Dutch the “a” sound is usually pronounced “ah” but I have no clue. The “Harmer” version can rhyme with Tropicana, maybe.
