I think you’re spot on here. That injury was a bad one, and I wonder if his confidence has been affected. I think he’s probably slightly the better keeper of the two, and that if he hadn’t had his injury, he would have played every game in goal.

I agree that a point would be a decent result, but it worries me that if MR feels the same way, then he’ll go one up top, set up defensively, which hasn’t proved to be successful. If we go two up top, we can press more effectively and stop the other team from playing. I would also go Gyokeres...

Well, it’s still in our hands, if we get enough points we’ll deservedly stay up, if we get relegated, we’ll deserve that as well. Got to hand it to Rotherham, we will need to show the same determination in our remaining games. Hopefully we’ll do that, starting on Thursday.

I think at home in particular, he’s suffered more than most with the poor pitch. He liked to play a lot of first time balls, give and goes, and as the pitch deteriorated, the accuracy of those passes suffered. Doesn’t explain the loss of form totally, but I don’t think it’s helped.
