I don't think you can't judge it by what was happening 20 years ago, the game itself is virtually unrecognisable now, crowds up everywhere... except us... and no prizes for guessing why- whoever you want to blame we have been one of the most catastrophically managed clubs in the entire league...

you may be right, I was factoring in the 6ks from a few clubs bumping it up.

Surely no other club finds as much to moan about as we do

Don’t be too confident about the walk up either 2011/2012 we had 9,600 season ticket holders, and I’d say we had an average of 2.5k away fans. We only averaged 15k meaning that there was minuscule walkup, hardly any for some matches. Walkups are generated by something worth watching, so...

We are pretty unique. Part of it was those years in the prem when nothing of interest happened until the end of the season- first game isn’t really traditionally a bumper crowd. We tend to get our bigger crowds later in the season.

I wouldn’t be calling it ‘fabulous’ tbh, it’s not exactly the other end of the country is it

Here’s where we stand in the ‘all time list’ Before sixfields, League Two and St Andrews we were 1,000 higher and sitting just behind Forest. We are the only club in our ‘class’ to have seen a reduction- a big one too thanks to the way the club has been managed.

Not bad. Bolton aren't too dissimilar to us really, they can summon up pretty decent grounds and then drop like a stone. Plenty of competition up there as well.

How much are Bolton charging for theirs? I kind of get it with them, they're on a crusade now and on the way back up after a couple of terrible years. Makes you wonder how many we could have sold had we been at "home" in 20/21 and there was no covid.

No backtracking- it’s impossible to force people to have the jabs but if a player compromises his health based on crackpot “science” with zero evidence, putting the other players at risk in doing so then he should be fined the same way as if he turned up stinking of booze unable to play. If any...

If I failed to show up at work and then blamed my boss for not mollycoddling me and making sure I knew when to be in I’d expect a bollocking. Actually I wouldn’t as I’ve never done that, I have enough goodwill built up that I’d probably be laughed at as they’d know it was an honest mistake...

I think the implications are pretty clear. We don’t have time to be pissing about pandering to people, and we could use the money, he should be gone if he just couldn’t be arsed to know what time he was supposed to be at work
