Rotherham and Sky Blues remaining fixtures... predictuons

Look at my predictions again. In the short term this forum will go into meltdown when I predict Rotherham will get 8 points from their next 4 home games. BUT, the final positions will be based on all remaining fixtures where I predict we will finish with two more points than Rotherham despite...

Rotherham and Sky Blues remaining fixtures... predictuons

If you look at my opening predictions post, note that I have put us down to lose at Rotherham yet still finish higher, even though I predict us to only win one of our remaining fixtures. The predictions show just how hard it will be for Rotherham to finish higher than us despite winning two and...

Just watched it on Quest, Rotherham were unlucky.

I have been generous and it just shows how difficult it will be for Rotherham to get more points than us.

Assuming 48 points is the target, we need 6 points from 6 games. Rotherham will need 12 points from 9 games to better our total on goal average.

Updated - Relegation run-in: all teams' fixtures in a table

Two points from our remaining away games and four points from our remaining home games will see us safe.

Match Thread Bournemouth (A) Sat 10th

Nothing to fear playing Bournemouth considering we drew at Norwich, were unlucky not to win at Watford and beat Brentford at "home". Currently the top 3.

    Will we stay up

Going to depend on other team's results. I have us winning 2 and drawing 2 and losing 4. Total 47 points. Looking at the other team's fixtures this might be enough. As others have posted, the Rotherham game could be the decider.

    Remaining games

Looking at the latest odds, the bookies say we will stay up. 8/1 Oddschecker and 5/1 on Sky Bet. Bookies based on reasoning without the emotion of a supporter. Far better odds than Blues, Rotherham, Derby. Sheffield Weds win yesterday was a one off... they haven't lost at Barnsley for 7 games now.

    Everyone still confident ?

I can see 4 points... draw at qpr and beat Bristol City and lose at Bournemouth. Looking at Blues fixtures I reckon they will get 9 points being generous from their remaining fixtures. I feel we will get 10 points.

The answer simply is to win more games than Birmingham out of our 10 remaining and Birmingham's 9. Looking at the remaining fixtures that shouldn't be difficult.

    Mansfield, Wycombe, Derby

I think Rotherham will stay up and that Huddersfield will go down along with Sheffield Wednesday and Wycombe. Huddersfield have some tough fixtures coming up against top teams. If we get more points than Huddersfield over the remaining fixtures, we'll be safe. Our target should be to better...

    5 out of 6

Out of the next 6 games, 5 are at St Andrew's. I think we should be looking for at least 10 points from these fixtures.

Pretty complimentary about SISU too. Good relationship between MR the owners who let him manage, have backed him, and trust him. For the past three years I cannot fault SISU as owners. We can't live in the past, it's gone, but the future under MR and SISU looks much brighter.

    Match Thread Millwall

Got a feeling we are going to win this one 0.2. I remember a few years ago when Milwall were relegated from the Championship. First game of the season and we won 4 - 1 at the Den against all the odds.

This season is tame so far compared to what we oldies went through year after year in the top flight. Bar the odd one, every season was a relegation fight, but for over 30 years we survived. After promotion last season, we are doing ok so far.
