    Crazy that play-off was a sell-out at 28K.

Although I expect we'd restrict them to 2K.

31,400 would take the average for the season to over 27,800, the highest since 69/70. Almost exactly 3 times higher than our average attendance 7 years ago.

Potential record full-stop. 31,407 is the record v Chelsea.

I get angry when Saddle announces the team on here, yet here I am even angrier that he hasn't announced it this week. FFS man, find out if MVE and Thomas are back and let me know!

Not that you can tell from that website which is borderline undecipherable but I'm pretty sure those were Lampard's comments at the weekend rather than anything new?

New or just the rehashed one from what he said pre-Luton?

    20 years on

I did sing along with the Paterson song at the West Brom game. Baby steps, mate, give me time.

    20 years on

Used to get to the Binley Oak at 12:30, a few pints and 2 cheese rolls (can't bring myself to say batch like you lot) from the bar. Then head to the game at 2:50. Turning the corner (into Catherine St?...) to see the corner of the WT and hearing the crowd used to put the hairs up on the back...

    1 game to go

Hmmm just saw that Leeds scored a 4th in injury time. As you were!

It really did. The only way to move above them without us winning is a draw and them losing. Them losing moves their goal difference to the same or worse than ours and we've scored more goals.

Have a read of the Middlesbrough forum for a further pick me up. Never seen such negativity for a team one game away from the play-offs..

You don't think Dasilva's was a red? There's no way Kitching is getting back, their lad was away. One second after the impact he'd have been one on one with Collins. If that was Wright and it wasn't given we'd be going crazy.

    For the older fans here

It took me years to get used to Clive's commentary style. Every time the ball gets near the opposition's box he makes it sound like a goal is imminent. You then watch the highlights and see one of our players slice a 25 yard shot nearly out for a throw-in or something.

    For the older fans here

Agree with what lots of others have said, its much more stressful watching on TV or listening to CWR. Being there in person with 28K others feeling the same emotions as I am makes me feel much calmer.
