I don't know. But it was pretty obvious that he wouldn't be getting a contract whilst injured in Pressley's CT interview a few days ago, although he will be here throughout his rehab.

He got CT MOM for Saturday. Given that he was probably our best player the week before, that's two appearances-both out of position, and miles off full match fitness-and two games where he's been our best player. When I said the other day that if fit, he'll probably be worth his wages, I wasn't...

Pressley said they'd "look after Elliott" during his rehab. Hopefully he can make an impression then and earn a deal, if we are then able to offer them. I thing it's a crap decision to release him, though.

The key players under him aside from King (and Westwood, thinking about it...we had a bloody good squad, actually!) were Doyle, Carsley and Turner, none of whom were playing for us when he got fired. I still think we were a busted flush tactically, though.
