Sky Blue Trust - Certainty of takeover

You must be new to this site Gary, or you wouldn't expect facts to get in the way of an argument.......

    Let's just wait till Friday

Do you mind. I'm on the "pro CCFC, gave SISU a chance but they turned out to be inept " side. We have t-shirts, badges and everything :)

    Let's just wait till Friday

I've only been to home games and Shrewsbury away. Can't we talk about our favourite game of another season please :)

    Walsall Away Easter Monday

Very impressive. Must admit, I wish I'd done the away games instead of the home ones :(

    Questions for Peter Knatchbull Hugesson

What a lot of unsupported statements! I'm afraid you're wandering into Grendel territory. Next we know it, the South Sea Bubble will be (mis)quoted.

    Questions for Peter Knatchbull Hugesson

Was it a myth? Must have had too much wine tonight, I could have sworn it really happened :)

    Questions for Peter Knatchbull Hugesson

Well, at least we should be grateful that anyone who speaks out against SISU isn't branded "pro-ACL". Oh, hang on a minute.........

    Your beloved SISU: Why?

To be fair, we know he went yesterday as he saw the blatant foul by Cody! :)

Hopefully an end to this endless debate once and for all

Quite right - after all, that's your job :)

    response

"Brag" - what an odd choice of verb.

    response

But SISU rejected the deal. Agree with your final point though. If we do get new owners let's hope they spend time negotiating instead of trying to start fights.

    Good Luck CCFC

I'm not a fan of SISU, but I don't believe they "set up the business to bleed it dry". I'm quite convinced they intended to make the club successful and then sell it on. Unfortunately they lost their nerve (or perhaps their access to finance) and when they ditched Plan A, it soon became...

    Takeover latest

The protests may not have inspired us on the pitch last year, but any damage they did was minuscule when compared to the disastrous mismanagement of the club under the reign of Ken D. Remember ken, the man who gave the interviews after the (in)famous Tamworth meeting, complaining about...

Will Gary Hoffman Be Our Saviour?

I don't know they won't but then I didn't write a post that stated they won't be. You however posted about "Hoffman's faceless investors" suggesting that either you knew something or that you have some agenda that you want to push irrespective of the facts (or lack of facts).

Will Gary Hoffman Be Our Saviour?

I've been going since the late 60's. I've had a season ticket for most of those years - although I've never lived in Coventry. Oh, and I saw every game in the '87 cup run. Am I allowed an opinion please.

Will Gary Hoffman Be Our Saviour?

Torch, how do you know that any new investors will be "faceless"?

    ACL start admin proceedings

Don't blame you at all - I wish I understood the intricacies of administration better! I agree that any buyer would need money to buy the club (not much), hopefully to buy (part or all of) ACL (much more) and money to fund losses while the club was hopefully put on a sound footing (quite a...

    ACL start admin proceedings

The amount that SISU have put in is not relevant. The administrator would indeed be duty bound to get the best deal possible, but this will be based on the current assets and liabilities of the business. Not on historical investment that (for whatever reason) has been wasted.
