Sisu back in full control and us out of admin by Tuesday?

I like it.......:) On a slightly more serious note, some do seem to take a view that if someone has taken a poition on a matter, then it's unetical/wrong/some form of moral failing etc to ever change that position - even when different facts have emerged that could/should rightly influence the...

Sisu back in full control and us out of admin by Tuesday?

I was just interested how far back he'd been searching - you know, just to assess the level of commitment to his posting!!

No, I feel they have a long history. I think you may have misread the thread....

    What I think will happen...

As I said earlier, different people see it different ways. Not wishing to put words into your mouth, but it seems that you feel that Wimbledon FC died when a particular limited company was wound up. I don't think that the Wimbledon fans that resurrected the club (in my view, presumably...

    What I think will happen...

I don't think everyone sees it your way. If you ask me about the club that won the cup in 1988, I'd be thinking about AFC Wimbledon - not MK Dons. To use a SISUism, AFC CCFC would have a "beneficial interest" in Coventry City :)

Jack Taylor was a butcher from Shifnal (on the Wolverhampton side of Telford). Can't honestly remember him reffing Cov games, but I do remember him giving Holland a penalty after 90 seconds of the World Cup Final played in West Germany - against West Germany!

    Tonights Forum 07/06/13

The most interesting bit last night was TF's statement - whilst avoiding the question from the SCG guy - that SISU had written off the £45m in their books. He then went on to explain that they would not exit CCFC now because they were "at the bottom of the business cycle". So, what he (and...

    Closing Day For Bids

Always great amusement to be had from the expressions of disgust at the staggeringly expensive membership fee of £1. Thank God it wasn't £1.50 - some people would have gone into total meltdown! :)

Fixtures out on June 19th !!

Remember the days when the excitement was all about who we'd be playing in our first home game of the season. Now it's if we'll be playing it and, in that happy event, where we'll be playing it. And the summers used to be warmer........

CCLSC minutes 29th May - Fisher Speaks

As I said, had the post been by many people, I'd have ignored it. Whilst I frequently disagree with Godiva, he's a decent poster - which is why I questioned this post. Re the "if SISU got hold of the stadium....", personally, I prefer to try to stick to the facts. I was supportive of SISU...

CCLSC minutes 29th May - Fisher Speaks

I've no problem with factually based criticism however - Why was it "obvious" that it was "at that time" that (to use a less loaded phrase) contact was made / discussions were had etc etc. I'd expect that discussions had been kept warm since the original GH backed bid had been made. But why...
