we support the groundshare - sign here

Couldn't agree more. I was in Vancouver a couple of weeks back and went to a Whitecaps game. I was genuinely shocked by how young the crowd were compared with what I've been used to watching our games - and that's before a self-imposed exile.

Well, there were two strategies that I had in mind, but they are linked. The first is that being enacted by our owners. If you believe them (and I guess that it's possible that there is still someone out there who does): they have no alternative but to leave the Ricoh, they have funding in...

    Something not right

Not sure why you would transfer the trade out of one limited company into another unless it was part of a plan.

Try reading one of the multiple threads that deal with it and see if you can figure it out.

    Something not right

You have to cast your mind back to what was on offer. A "non-trading subsidiary with only property assets" - the property asset being the lease that SISU were trying to extract themselves from. The only other potential asset was the GS which CCFC Holdings were claiming beneficial ownership...

Something tells me they don't teach strategy at school.

Always assuming there really is a plan to build a stadium, rather than just a PR campaign to put pressure on ACL!

    Something not right

Sorry, you've lost me. There is a contract in place. It can be varied by agreement between the parties. Offers have been made by one side or the other - none of these have been accepted by the other party. Therefore the original contract remains in place and all offers/final offers etc...

As I said, that's where we differ. NOPM :p

    Can we exit administration?

Then I guess that's where we differ. I can't see any decent future for the club with SISU in charge - and if you re-read your last few entries, I'm not sure that you could either. So in my view they need to go. What we have to do is make the "pain" of pursuing their current strategy too...

I don't suppose too many people will fall over with shock......:p

    Can we exit administration?

I agree with the above, but my hope is that the underestimation may be on SISU's side. Close down/liquidate the average company and you'll get some grief from the employees, perhaps a union if one exists, maybe a few suppliers - however a football club isn't the average company (in so many...

    Can we exit administration?

Reasoning? Are you suggesting that SISU would prefer to liquidate rather than agree another bid that might give them "a couple of million"?

Sky Blues leave Alan Higgs Centre training facility after row over unpaid bills

I have sympathy for many of your comments. In my view you're one of the more thoughtful posters on the site, so it is a little disappointing when you seem to (in my view) turn your fire on the wrong targets. I'm a great believer in exploring arguments and playing Devil's Advocate, but...

I think that the phrase that I would use is "substance over form".

Sky Blues leave Alan Higgs Centre training facility after row over unpaid bills

I understand that you like to swim against the tide - and that is often a very valid approach. Sometimes however, you need to be able to spot when swimming with the tide might be the right thing to do.

Sky Blues leave Alan Higgs Centre training facility after row over unpaid bills

That's a fair comment - but only if you ignore what has gone before, in terms of the relative credibility of the parties involved. However - alls well that ends well, which is more than can be said for the more general picture with our club........

So that's a no then. Don't blame you - I doubt you'd be very successful at putting over your point of view.
