You have to cast your mind back to what was on offer. A "non-trading subsidiary with only property assets" - the property asset being the lease that SISU were trying to extract themselves from. The only other potential asset was the GS which CCFC Holdings were claiming beneficial ownership...

Sorry, you've lost me. There is a contract in place. It can be varied by agreement between the parties. Offers have been made by one side or the other - none of these have been accepted by the other party. Therefore the original contract remains in place and all offers/final offers etc...

Then I guess that's where we differ. I can't see any decent future for the club with SISU in charge - and if you re-read your last few entries, I'm not sure that you could either. So in my view they need to go. What we have to do is make the "pain" of pursuing their current strategy too...

I have sympathy for many of your comments. In my view you're one of the more thoughtful posters on the site, so it is a little disappointing when you seem to (in my view) turn your fire on the wrong targets. I'm a great believer in exploring arguments and playing Devil's Advocate, but...

I think that the phrase that I would use is "substance over form".

I understand that you like to swim against the tide - and that is often a very valid approach. Sometimes however, you need to be able to spot when swimming with the tide might be the right thing to do.

That's a fair comment - but only if you ignore what has gone before, in terms of the relative credibility of the parties involved. However - alls well that ends well, which is more than can be said for the more general picture with our club........
