Agree with that. And if you do a bit more of that there is a case for dropping one of Sheaf or Grimes for Allen

Transfer Rumour 25/26 Summer Transfer Window

Stats, stats. I trust what I see on the pitch. It’s mad to want rid. But if he did go who are you getting in for 10m to do what he does?

Transfer Rumour 25/26 Summer Transfer Window

He doesn’t. That’s a complete myth. He’s out top scorer. We’re asking him to cover lots of ground out on the left and he’s still top scorer. He’s a constant threat.

Them sitting back any more is not possible. They’d be in the stands. They’re at home, it won’t be the same game

Transfer Rumour 25/26 Summer Transfer Window

Wright is head and shoulders above our other forwards. It’s insane to say we should move him on. Consistent goals across two seasons, versatile and his all round play dwarves our other options.

Match Thread Coventry v Sunderland Championship Playoff 1st Leg Friday 9th May

Milan’s mistake was obvious but I’m not really blaming anyone for last night. They parked the bus and got very lucky. You can’t account for that. The tie is wide, wide open. In lots of ways the away tie will be easier for us. This is far from over

    Team for tuesday

Don’t agree with the criticism of the forward line last night. Sunderland shut up shop from minute one. We didn’t adjust and just kept giving it Grimes in front of a wall of Sunderland players. The play should have been to go more direct more quickly. They were the only moments we looked...

Sunderland parked the bus and got lucky. Grimes was good but should have pushed on when it was clear what they were doing. 7’s all round. Rudoni, Saka possible 8

Same again for me. I actually think we’ll turn them over fairly easily up there.

    Red card killed it

    Jack rudoni

I don’t think he did go missing early on really anyway. He’s been our best player all year. Thought it was a massive coup to get him - can’t believe we didn’t face more opposition

    Goal of the season

Context - Thomas v Stoke and Rudoni v Boro. Quality of strike - BTA.

Not getting a head of ourselves ….

It’s all a bonus for me so I’m going in with zero expectation. For a long time this season seemed to have mid table obscurity written all over it so I can’t get disappointed whatever the outcome from here on in.

As long as the shirt stays on. Don’t want to risk a yellow card

We would have been better off with Robins

Some seasons Robins had money. Some he didn’t. He took us from the worst position we’ve probably ever been in to the point where Lampard inherited a squad capable of finishing 5th with just Grimes added in. I’m not really sure why done are so determined to belittle that achievement. It needed...

    Let's not forget.....

Of course we want promotion. It has to be the ambition.

    Who would you sell?

Ideally. But if 1 has to go I’d choose him from those likely to bring any sort of fee.

    Doug King

It’s proven to be the right decision as the results prove it. However, barring Grimes Lampard has done it with the squad Robins assembled. I think it just needed a freshen up and I do think Robins had lost the plot with his coaching appointments. Managers tend to have a cycle of influence...

    Sakamoto

Sakamoto’s final ball is the difference. It’s regularly better than other deliverers such as Wright, MVE or EMC. Rudoni is good as well but is also needed on the other end of them.

    Who would you sell?

Got to keep Rudoni and Wright. I wonder if we’ll hold on to BTA?
