Les Reid - still at it !

That kind of post won't fool anyone - it's now in the open that you're running an "ACL led" forum :)

Les Reid - still at it !

It would be nice to think that both sides might be a little more constructive in their choice of words in future. Mind you, peace in the Middle East would be nice too.....

Les Reid - still at it !

I think it's a pretty good bet that the conditions were 1) drop the JR action and 2) agree a new lease. I can partially understand the lack of comment from them, with the JR going on but I think it's classic lawyer overkill - "don't say nothing, to no one.....".

Les Reid - still at it !

You can't come on here and make a sensible point - where would things end if others followed suit? :)

Am I the eldest member of SBT at 72 ?

Very true. My Dad is 83 and had a season ticket at the Ricoh. Took him to Shrewsbury, but there's no way he can stand for 90 minutes and so initially all he could see was peoples' backs. Fortunately, everyone on the row was kind enough to move along so that he could sit on the end and get...

    Walsall match thread

Loved the new version of the Sky Blue Song - "Tottenham or Chelsea, SISU or anyone They shan't defeat us........"

Unsung Hero so far this season

From the two games that I saw (Shrewsbury and Wolves), I had Thomas as my MoM on both occasions. I was a bit dubious about Clarke in the Shrewsbury game but thought that he was much better against Wolves and that he really seemed to have settled into the role.

    FA Cup 1st round

True, but I guess the point is that the statement that it would make would outweigh the "damage" to NOPM. Won't happen anyway - Orient away is nailed on :)

Sisu launch new High Court bid to challenge £14.4m bail out of Ricoh Stadium owners

You could just have said that you didn't want to answer the question (again).

Sisu launch new High Court bid to challenge £14.4m bail out of Ricoh Stadium owners

That is a very narrow view that (deliberately?) ignores the bigger picture. We had a glimmer of hope this week that there may be the first moves towards talks. We could have had TF on CWR saying that he wanted to engage ACL in talks, instead we got more legal action. Do you think that...

Sisu launch new High Court bid to challenge £14.4m bail out of Ricoh Stadium owners

Did I say that my wife believes that? You must refer me to the post. However, she does not have a great deal of faith in many of her fellow JPs or the time given to scrutinise cases or indeed 100% of the evidence of the boys (and girls) in blue. Incidentally, if your clever niece is doing...

Surprise surprise SISU resort to courts again

That's where it's going to end up Robo. If you don't believe that, where do you think the cost will end up?

Surprise surprise SISU resort to courts again

If they're one and the same, then by definition it must be CCFC's too.......

Sisu launch new High Court bid to challenge £14.4m bail out of Ricoh Stadium owners

Many thanks for the acknowledgement of my wisdom - you're obviously a better judge than I thought :) I'd be guessing too, but with a wife who's a JP and many friends who work in the law, my confidence is well below yours. If you must have numbers, I'd say that you'd have to be a nailed on...

Then your assumption is as misinformed as your judgement of those odds.

Sisu launch new High Court bid to challenge £14.4m bail out of Ricoh Stadium owners

Then you're a very strange person or you have a faith in the judicial system that is not shared by any lawyer that I have ever met.

Sisu launch new High Court bid to challenge £14.4m bail out of Ricoh Stadium owners

I wouldn't be surprised if SISU have threatened legal action (how can I put this?) more than once in recent months.

Sisu launch new High Court bid to challenge £14.4m bail out of Ricoh Stadium owners

I'd have thought the answer was pretty obvious. (To avoid disruption and costs if you're struggling.)
